"No missions today!?" I sighed in frustration.
"Why are you complaining? The way I see it, it seems like a day off," Natsu placed his hand on my shoulder. Suddenly, I thought of a really random idea.
"Alright, so to celebrate our day off, let's have some s'mores!" Natsu looked at me like as if I said that Happy turned into a human.
"What the heck are s'mores?" Natsu asked.
"I'll show you," I went over to the bar and sat down. "Hey, Mira, do you happen to have gram crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate?" I asked.
"Sure!" Mira went into the pantry and came back out with the right ingredients. "Here you go!"
"Thanks!" I smiled. "Alright, Natsu, let's roast some marshmallows!"
"Yeah! I'm fired up now!" He nearly burned the marshmallows in his hand.
"Alright, now we put the marshmallow in the middle of chocolate and gram crackers," I explained.
"Then we eat it!" Natsu nearly burned his tongue on his s'more.
"You have to wait for it to cool off, doofus!" I giggled. He still took a bite anyways.
"Hey, this isn't half bad!" He said with a full mouth.
"Can I try some?" Happy snuck up from behind me.
"Sure!" I gave Happy a s'more. I took a bite out of mine, savoring the sweet chocolate and the melted marshmallow.
"This is delicious!" I smiled.
"Aye!" Happy replied.
We nearly stuffed our faces until there was only one s'more left. I bit onto one end of it, hoping I claimed it to be my s'more. But just when I thought that I was the victor, Natsu bit onto the other end. Blushing, I bit one end off. He bit another end off, his face inching closer to mine. We were down to one bite left. I was tempted to let Natsu win and have the last piece, but I stayed determined. I carefully bit off the last piece. And that's when our lips met. I quickly backed away and covered my face.
"Ha! Your face was priceless!" Natsu was practically rolling on the floor laughing.
"Aye!" Happy replied.
"Sh-shut up, you two!" I stuttered. Natsu gave me a kiss on the cheek and I covered my blushing face once more.
"We should make those again!" Natsu grinned.
"Alright, then. After every mission, we'll make s'mores, okay?" I asked.
"Aye!" Natsu and Happy both replied.
