So you guessed it...

A car pulled over and it wasn't my car or Bhai's. The window rolled down, revealing the devil himself. Drum roll please... and it was Mr. Asher!
"Get in," he commanded. Oh the nerve of him!
"Excuse me?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him
"Shahveer called me to pick you up. So get in," he rolled his eyes
"I am not getting in some stranger's car." I crossed my hand over my chest
"Just get in will you. Don't make me come out of the car," he warned
"Whatever." I waved him off
"Fareesa, you get on my nerve too much" he sighed
"What's your problem?" I retorted making him sigh in return as if he was tired of dealing with a 2-year-old kid.
Then I got I took out my phone to ring bhai and ask him why he couldn't come by himself. But as if things couldn't get any worse I didn't have any balance on my phone. And Asher was watching me all this time still sitting in the car's driver seat with me standing beside it.
He took out his own phone and offered it to me through the window. I eyed it wearily not sure as to if he meant that I could use it.
"Call from here," he said in a duh tone.
Oh, so the jerk can be nice too!
I took his phone from his hand and turning it on I found it had a pin code
"You have a pin code," I told him
"2814," he replied in a bored tone
I was surprised that he gave me his pin code; most people are so secretive about it
Anyway, I quickly dialed Bhai's number and found it saved in his contacts as 'shave' suppressing a grin at that I made a mental note to tease bhai about it later. I put the phone to my ear and waited for bhai to pick it up as he did on the third ring.
"Hello? Asher? What's up? Didn't you pick Fareesa up?" Bhai said all in one breath. Oh so Asher wasn't lying after all
"Umm bhai it's me," I said quietly
"Oh Fareesa, yes I told him to pick you up because I had to go to pick up Nawal from the airport. She was supposed to come tomorrow but a change of plans."
"WHAT? Nawal Bhabhi's coming? And you didn't have the courtesy to tell me?!" I yelled into the phone.
"I forgot," he said sheepishly
"You forgot?! Wait till I tell her about this. You are so dead," I threatened
"Ok, whatever I am going to the airport. We'll be home in an hour or two." he waved it off
"Ok, then I'll be waiting!" I said enthusiastically only to be met with the dialing tone. Oooh looks like someone is a little too excited to meet their spouse! Then suddenly it registered in my oblivious mind that Asher was listening all this while as I looked at him sitting utterly amused in the car
I blushed, embarrassed "So has your highness decided to come? Or do you plan to use all my balance?" He asked me amusement dancing in his eyes and I realized that I had been using his phone. Sheepishly I handed it back to him and went towards the back seat but the door was locked
"I am not your driver you know. Come to the front seat." He all but snapped at me.
Eyeing his annoyed expression I just sat in the front seat putting aside the fact that how Haram this was.
