Devin's P.O.V
"How much you wanna bet Kev ain't even ask her yet?" I crack up.
"Kev low-key always be chickening out of stuff." Daniel and I both laugh.
"Dani, can you help me real quick?" Alexis yells from the kitchen. He gets up and walks backward into the kitchen with a smirk.
"And now we're alone." I slide over and put my arm behind Marie.
"Yep." She giggles. D.Gord got the moves.
"What do you wanna watch?"
"I don't mind. You choose." She shrugs so I put in Pretty Little Liars. "You watch this?"
"Nagely got all of us hooked one night."
"Well, now I don't have to beg you to watch this show with me because it's my favorite." She smiles. Lit, she digging the chocolate thunder, about to be from down under if you know what I mean. I laugh to myself, I'm just too funny.
"She just died. Why are you laughing?" She looks at me with an amused face.
"But it's the way she died." I smoothly lie. She shakes her head smiling then continues watching the show. But all I could focus on was her. Damn, she looks really beautiful right now. She always does matter of fact. I just have to kiss her.
Marie's P.O.V
Devin starts to kiss me, slowly laying me down on the couch. He hovers over me while stroking my cheek with his thumb. Quickly the show I once was intrigued in turned into background noise. As soon as it starts getting heated we stop by the sound of a quick sigh.
"I definitely came down at the wrong time. Ok." Mama Roa shuffles back upstairs and we start to laugh. Devin licks his lips.
"Now that we're alone again...."
