Chapter 18

We first picked up the trash and wrappers on the ground. No doubt the yard was big but we managed to pick up everything in an hour. I reached up to wipe my sweat but Taehyung beats me to it.

He focuses on my head as he used the back of his hand to wipe it off. "I could've done that myself Taehyung ah" he laughs and pouts.

"I want to take care of you noona. I dont have an older sister. So now that you agreed to be my older sister, I can protect you" he smiles at me. My heart softened and I ruffled his hair.

We continued working. This time we looked at the furnitures and decoration. "Lets go buy the paint so that we can repaint these" Taehyung says. I nod and we headed out to get the same exact paint colors.

Taehyung showed the man the pictures of the furnitures and asked for the paint color. I watch as they talk. Although he's younger then me, it seems like he's older. I couldn't help but smile. "Seungwan noona they dont have the exact same color but something similar to it" Taehyung's voice brought me back to reality. I looked at him and he showed me the color strips.

"These will work" I answered

The worker nods before heading into the back. Taehyung placed the color strips back into the shelves. He places his hands into his pocket and gives me a big smile. "Taehyung ah are you sure you dont regret staying here with me?" I asked.

He answered right away, "Not one bit" he smiled showing all of his teeth. I laugh and pinched his nose.

"Here you go sir" the guy came back holding two gallons of paint.
We thanked him and I took out my wallet. Reaching inside I searched for my 50 dollar bill but Taehyung stops me as he hands the guy his money.

My eyes widened, "Yah! Why did you pay? I should've done that" i scolded  him. Punching his arm. He laughs as he pleaded for me to stop. "How can I let a female pay?" He places his wallet back into his pocket before grabbing the two gallons of paint.

We exit the store and head right back to the mansion.

In Jeju....

They run to the sea shore excited. Jungkook tried pulling Yerim into the water but she put up a difficult fight. Seokjin smiled as he followed them.

'It would've been perfect if Seungwan came' he thought.

Namjoon was getting pulled by the maknaes closer and closer to the water as they finally pushed him into the water. "Yah!" Namjoon screams as he comes running out of the water, chasing Jungkook and Jimin.

"Oppa stop being a loner and come join us" Yerim complained as she dragged Seokjin closer to the water. By this time everyone was already in the water splashing each other. "Get the birthday boy!!!" Hoseok shouted as everyone started attacking Seokjin.

"Sorry oppa they made me do it!" Yerim shouts as she started splashing water at him.

"Yah Kim Yerim!!!" Seokjin shouts as he runs away from them.

After hours of playing they decided to get cleaned up and head out to eat.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Seokjin ah, happy birthday to you!" They all singed as the cake was brought out. Seokjin covered his face embarrassed. "Make a wish hyung" Jimin shouts.

"Thanks guys" he says before blowing the candles.

"Now lets eat!!!" Joohyun exclaimed.

Back in Seoul...

Seungwan handed Taehyung a plate as she took a seat next to him. "Thank you for helping me today Taehyung ah" he took a bite of the pasta and nodded at her making her laugh. "This is really good" He praised before taking another bite. She laughs before also digging in.
