Two years later......
I took off my sunglasses and held tightly onto Krystal. She rest her head on me as I walked through the crowded airport.
Looking down at her I couldn't help but let out a smile. "We're going to move into our new home" I whispered into her ear.
"Come on sweetie we got a taxi!" My dad calls out. I place my glasses back down clearly embarrassed. Walking past him I look at Mr.Kim already placing our suitcases in the back of the car.
Krystal lifts up her head. A tiny yawn escaping from her as she rubs her eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle. She was my precious little girl and I loved her to death.
"Take us to this address please" Mr.Kim hands him the piece of paper with our address. The driver nods before handing back the paper. "When do you start working?" Dad claps his hands at Krystal.
"Tomorrow"
Mr.Kim turns to look at us, "Already? Why?"
I shrug. Not quite sure tbh. I also feel as if it isn't fair I have to work the very next day. I mean I just got back and they want me to start working already. "I'm just worried about Krystal" smoothing out her hair as she plays with dads fingers.
Her soft giggles coming out every time my dad wiggled his fingers. "You don't have to worry about her. Me and your dad will take care of her" he handed Krystal her unfinished bottle.
She escaped my hold and headed towards dad.
"I'm mostly worried about you sweetie. Are you sure you'll be okay working at that hospital?" Dad questions me once Krystal is sitting in his lap.
I gave him a small smile before turning to the window. It was a nice day. The sun was out and there was a small breeze that kept the citizens nice and cool. Tomorrow i had to go to work.
Never once have I ever imagined stepping one foot into this land again but here they were. Not only her but their daughter...
How would he react if he found out about Krystal? Would he be happy? Sad?
What about Krystal? How would she react to seeing her dad after two years...
"It'll be okay Seungwan ah. Maybe we should go and have fun when we get home. I miss this place" Mr.Kim tried to lighten up the mood.
I nod, as much as I hate to admit it, I also missed South Korea. I missed the food stands on the street and the amusement parks.
Narrator's POV
"Eonni!" Jisu ran up to Jisoo. The two looked at one another. Jisu grasped her two knees as she tried to regain her breath.
Jisoo laughed at the girl. "Take your time"
When she finally stood back up she leaned into Jisoo's ears. "I heard we have a new girl coming tomorrow"
Everyone glanced at the two.
Jisoo's eyebrows arched as she stared at the younger one. A new girl?
Seokjin had never mentioned about a new girl coming to the hospital. Ever since he returned from California....he's been different.
Before they went he would try his best to make her happy. Try his best to shower her with love. But now he barely gives her attention. She'd text him only to receive a one word reply.
The slightest things she did always seemed to bug him and when it bugged him he would yell at her.
"Do you know where Dr.Kim is?"
...........
Seokjin looked up from the files when he heard the knock. Placing the papers down he went over to the door and unlocked it.
Jisoo walked right in once he opened the door.
"What are you-"
"Why didn't you tell me?" Jisoo cut him off.
Arms crossed over her chest as her foot tapped continuously. On the other hand Seokjin looked at her flabbergasted. "What are you talking about?"
Her arms fell to her side as her expression changes. "You didn't know?"
With a straight face he shakes his head.
"There's a new girl coming tomorrow"
Seokjin's POV
Without knocking I walked in. Dad sat there fixing his pen. Looking up he nodded at the seat before returning to the pen.
"Who's the new girl?"
He laughs but continued focusing on the pen.
"A very skilled neurosurgeon" he laughs again before placing the pen down. I looked him straight in the eye. Nothing but pure hatred filled them up and nothing else but hatred will fill them up.
I sat there waiting for her to explain even more but he stays silent and takes out some documents.
"Can I get more info?" He slams his paper down clearly annoyed. Yanking off his glasses he rubs the bridge of his nose. "She's from America. Now please leave"
America? Wait so does she even speak our language? Only if it were Seungwan....
"Why are you spacing out? I told you to get out" dad interrupts. Glaring at him I stood up and headed towards the door. I look at him once more before exiting.
When the door closes behind me I turn to the front only to encounter my mom. "Seokjin ah!" She exclaims.
Damn it why did you come out Seokjin?! NO! Why did you come up?! Make a run for it hurry!
"Seokjin?" She calls bringing me back.I really need to stop spacing out.
Ring ~ ring ~
Caller ID : Junsoo
"Eomma I have to go! I'll see you at home!"
Rushing last her I answer the call."Dr.Kim! A patient was just rushed in. Reported to have been shot in the arm" Junsoo read through the phone.
I clicked on the elevator. "I'll be down there in three" walking into the elevator.
"And oh Park Junsoo! Thanks for saving me!"
