Chapter 5: Jealousy

Ava (p.o.v):

Dear Luke:

I feel like we're more than friends but you never make a move, maybe that's your personality and I'm imagining things... I don't even know if what I feel for you is more than friendship. I don't know if I'm looking to be with you just because I see Kelly and Bill so happy it makes me want to be in a relationship. I think I'm in denial.. I must feel something for you because every time I look into your eyes I feel at peace. what do you think? too bad you will never tell me- because you will never read this.

I wrote on a piece of paper, a letter meant for Luke, a letter he will never receive! I folded the piece of paper and put it in between pages of my diary.

I was waiting for my friends to pick me up in Shin's new car, oh yes he got himself a brand new car, did I mention Shin is like filthy rich? we didn't know until he invited us to his house to play pool, although Shin is rich he is still the sweetest guy ever. Shin is extremely tall, he is taller than Bill and Bill's height is 6'2. Shin looked like Bill now that I think about it the only difference is that Shin has blonde hair and green eyes.

Did I mention Luke's parents left a few weeks ago? I would love to say that Luke and his dad fixed things but no, Luke stopped talking to his dad , I guess I understand him and since they left Luke seems more happy and less stressed.

I heard a beep and knew it was the guys.

"Morning" I said sitting on the back with Luke, Bill was at the front "Where's Kelly?" I asked, usually either Bill was missing because he stayed at Kelly's or Kelly was here because she stayed at Bill's.

"She didn't spent the night because her mom wanted to go out with her" Bill explained

"Oh yeah Bill was extremely sad, he cried all night" Luke said making us laugh.

No wonder Kelly text me last night saying she was busy. Her mom doesn't like Kelly using her phone around her. Who knows why.

We finally arrived to school and as soon as I got out I felt a pair of icy eyes stared at me.

"Need to talk to you" ugh that voice belongs to my ex Oliver James. I had seen him around school but we obviously didn't talked.

"Me and you have nothing to talk about" I said "Ava,we need to talk" he said pulling me by the wrist "stop" I said letting go

"hey! everything okay?" Luke asked noticing Oliver pulling me "It's not your business" Oliver said

"I don't want to talk to you" I said walking away with Luke and the guys.

Luke(p.o.v)

I looked back at the guy who was still staring at us. I wonder who he thought he was to grab Ava like that. When I saw him trying to pull her to go with him I wanted to punch him, I felt this weird sensation... I , I felt jealous!

"Are you okay?" I asked her, Ava just nodded not really wanting to talk about it but I was curious! who was he? Why did she looked so sad after seeing him? did she liked him? did he liked her? did they dated? all this questions started popping in my head and I was going crazy! it wasn't my business right? I mean we are just friends... just friends! then it had to be my business... friends talk to each other right?

"Hey baby" Bill said giving Kelly a kiss "are you okay?" Kelly immediately noticed Ava being upset "need to talk to you" Ava said pulling Kelly away "see you later guys" Kelly said.

oh really? now she was going to talk to Kelly but not me? weren't we all mates in this group? "Oy Luke!" Bill said waving his hands in front of my face "whaaat?!"
