Chapter 27: break up

Ava (p.o.v)

"I can't draw at all, stick figures are my forte" Shin said painting on a canvas, it looked like a mess of colors.

"I love drawing and painting, it's relaxing" I said .

It was Friday and the school day was almost over, Luke's friends were now leaving tomorrow and tonight there was a party at Shins mansion, yes Shin finally decided to throw a party at his house while his parents were still in Germany.

I was excited but not too excited that Alexandra and Oliver were coming to the party but it'll probably be fine since those two started dating.

"I can't believe is just us two today, where's Kelly? Bill and Luke? I know Luke and Kelly came to school "

"Well Luke didn't showed up to art class because he had to go to soccer practice a little bit more early than usual and Kelly she texted me saying she wasn't going to show up and Bill, I don't know"

"I texted him this morning and he didn't replied"

"maybe he wasn't feeling good, Luke mentioned he's been kind of down lately" I said , I knew why I mean, him and Kelly been fighting and fighting and Bill is so nice and really loves her so he gets sad when they fight.

"I have noticed that him and Kelly aren't doing good" Shin said wetting one of the brushes, his sleeve went up to his elbow and I noticed him wearing a bracelet, Jacks bracelet.

"Yeah but that's normal people fight all the time, so is that Jack's bracelet?"

Shin looked at it and pulled down his sleeve "umm yeah I like so I use it"

"Do you like him?"

Shin blushed and started doing lines on his canvas "Jack is a great guy, good friend"

"I'm not talking about friendship Shin, I'm talking about if you like him like-"

The bell rang.

"Oh damn time to go" Shin said standing up and avoiding the question.

Luke(p.o.v)

I was sweating, this soccer practice was tiring but I love it. The bell ran so I knew it was only 40 more minutes of practice since we started it earlier.

The football and soccer court are next to each other so we would always see the football players who for some stupid reason hate on us.   It was stressful enough having to deal with Oliver but things were a little less terrible  now.

I sat down on the grass and Ed sat next to me "dude I can't wait for the big game next week, we are the best team"

"we are" I said but something caught my eye, was that Kelly ? it was Kelly with Nate? well that's interesting! Didn't Bill said that Kelly was cheating on him with Nate ? but it was impossible! maybe they were friends, Kelly is incapable of doing that to my best friend.

Ed was blabbering about something but I wasn't paying attention "I'll be back" I said and walked to the football court.

"Hey!" I yelled at them , Kelly was taken aback by my presence  and she walked towards me while Nate kept walking to the field.

"Hey Luke" She said moving her long black her to the side , it was kind of hard to read her... her face showed no emotion at all, not even scared because I caught her with Nate.

"Hey Kelly ,how are you? have you talk to Bill?"

"Nope , me and Bill have nothing to talk about"

"How come? he's your boyfriend"

"Nope, me and Bill broke up last night"

"So now you are with Nate?! Why did guys break up?"

"Luke! I'm not with Nate but I'm single now so I can talk to whoever I want to, and I know Bill is your friend but he can be a little too overprotective"

"Bill loves you, you are his first girlfriend okay? He is learning but he loves you" I said on behalf of Bill, So that's why he missed school? I hope he didn't do anything stupid! Bill can be kind of intense sometimes.

Kelly looked like she was about to cry but she was holding back "Luke I don't want to talk about it , just be there for your friend"she said and kept walking towards where Nate was at.

I went back to where Ed was sitting but he was gone, I needed to go home, I need to see how Bill was..

To: Beau

Mate, how is Bill doing? He still in his room or what?

I sat down on the grass and waited, some of the guys on the team were playing but some were just talking.

From: Beau

I don't know mate, me, Daniel and Jack skated to this coffee place and Bill decided to stay home, he has a flu or something.

I needed to go.

Narrator:

Bill was laying in bed, his nose was red, his cheek were red, his eyes were red. He looked sick, he was sick not physically but emotionally. 

He still couldn't believe Kelly broke up with him! she broke up with him over a guy who only wants to get in her pants! She didn't admitted but it was obvious why else would she dump him?

Bill had been crying all night long, he felt like an idiot crying over a girl but he couldn't help it , he loves her and it breaks his ego knowing that she likes someone else.

He was on his bed hugging his pillow while tears were running down his face , he was looking at the picture of him and Kelly on top of the night stand. He got up and grabbed the picture "you are leaving for idiot who doesn't really love you" he said poking at Kelly's face on the picture.

Bill stood up , grabbed the picture and threw it at the wall, he started crying and slammed his fist against the wall, he did it again and again until his fist started bleeding

"shit, shit, shit,shit shit!" he yelled .

Luke (p.o.v)

"Coach, I have to leave" I said

"Is everything okay?"

"yea coach , I just remembered I have a dentist appointment in like 30 minutes" I lied , coach was writing something on his small board "okay Chambers you can leave early"

"Thanks coach"

I ran to my car, I knew Ava was right now at her dance practice so I texted Shin asking him to please take Ava home if I didn't made it on time to pick her up after practice.

AT THE HOUSE

I threw my backpack on the couch and went upstairs, I knocked on his door but got no response "Bill open the door. I know what happened with you and Kelly" I said waiting by the door but nothing "common mate, I want to talk to you"

No one responded so I went it. "Bill?" I asked , he was sitting on the bed, I was facing his back "are you okay mate?" I asked

What I saw scared me, the wall was bloody  "Bill!!" I ran towards him and he was just laying there with blood on his hands and clothes "are you okay? what did you do? Bill?!"
