Chapter 29: My first kiss went a little like this...

Luke(p.o.v)

"This looks great man, it's going to be the party of the year" I said looking around Shins yard. There were white tables around the yard and on the middle of the yard close to the pool there was the food table filled with goodies, snacks and drinks, yes some had alcohol and some didn't.

Beau and I moved the stereo system close to the mini bar that was close to the glass doors that  connected to the back yard "fuck this shit is heavy" Beau complained, we had moved the whole stereo system and my poor mate was sweating "I need another beer" he said and went outside, I felt like drinking as well but I didn't know if I wanted to actually get drunk, luckily the guys flight was Sunday night so even if we got drunk we would have enough time to sleep.

"Beau bring me a beer!" I yelled hoping he had heard me.

Ava(p.o.v)

The guys where at Shins house helping with the party , I was excited cause it was going to be huge.

I was in my room waiting for Kelly to come over, we were going to see what we should wear for the party and whatnot but I also had the feeling she wanted to talk about the whole Bill and Nate drama.

I couldn't stop thinking about how awkward things would get on Monday, where would Bill sit? Where would Kelly sit? would they be able to be civil with each other? ugh I keep over thinking!

Finally there was a knock on the door, I heard my mom say hey to Kelly and told her I was in my room, I sat up and she came in.

"hello" she said with two big bags on her hands "let me guess, that's a bunch of clothes you want try on?"

"obviously then why am I here? I did brought some stuff for you I thought you might like for the party"

"let's try it on" I said helping her get the clothes out of the bags, there were a bunch of dresses, skirts, crop tops, leggings... a sea of clothes any girl our age would love!

"umm before we start trying on clothes, I want to ask you for some advise" Kelly said sitting on the bed  "what is it?" I asked putting a purple dress down and sitting across from her on the chair "Nate wants me to go to the party with him"

"what do you mean with him? like a date or friends?"

"Well he likes me and he wants us to go together and enjoy the party together"

"Oh gawd!" I said rolling my eyes, the only thing I could think was DRAMA ! "Kelly , okay listen if you go with Nate to the party people are going to start talking about you, it's not going to look good since you just broke up with Bill, what you've been single for a day or two?"

"yeah I know but-"

"Let me finish" I said interrupting her, I stood up and walked around "listen, Bill still thinks you cheated on him with Nate, if you show up to the party with him, he is going to be sure you did and everyone is going to think that"

"but I didn't cheated on him"

"then why is Nate asking you to be his date so soon?"

"Oh so you think I cheated on Bill? wow thanks Ava, I thought you were my best friend " Kelly said standing up and putting her clothes back on the bags "no! wait,  I'm not saying you cheated on him, sit and just listen to me"

Kelly sat down but I could tell she was annoyed "What I'm saying is that Bill might start something with Nate cause he's sure you cheated and even if you didn't showing up at the party with him a day after you broke up with Bill is not going to look good"

"I guess you are right... I'll tell him we should go to the party but we shouldn't arrive together"

"I just hope there's no drama"
