Chapter 33: I can't forgive you

Ava(p.o.v)

The week went by very slow, and Luke kept trying to talk to me, he kept trying to make me believe he didn't remember what happened between him and Alexandra... please

I came home and took a long shower, I started to cry... my ego was broken, my heart was broken, I broke down in the shower, I started sobbing "why"  I asked , I hate being cheated on, I hated that I trusted Luke with all my heart, I trusted him and he betrayed me...

I got out of the shower and put on some sweatpants and a tank top... I grabbed the necklace that Luke gave me, it was so light yet it meant so much I had the urge of throwing it away but I couldn't it...

"I can't get rid of it" I said putting it back in the jewelry box, I heard a knock on the door  "what now?" I said to myself, I ran downstairs and opened the door "what the heck do you want? I don't want to see YOU"

"Ava you shouldn't be mad at me... I'm a victim just like you are! Alex cheated on me" Oliver said "Oh please I don't believe you, I found out you guys weren't even in an exclusive relationship"

"we were trying... but she was obsess with Luke and cheated on me, now I understand how you feel... how I hurt you Ava"

"Why are you here?" I asked

"can I come in?" he asked, I nodded and lead him to the living room "you want something to drink ?"

"Ice tea"

Once I brought him the tea we sat down awkwardly, I hadn't talked to Oliver since... well since a long time ago "Ava, I'm sorry but what Luke did to you that just proves he's an idiot for cheating on you"

"you cheated on me too"

"and I was stupid..."

" I can't believe Alex cheated on you, it seems like she's obsessed with everything that's mine"

"I really regret getting with Alex, I don't want to see her again, I miss you and I think now that you and Luke are broken up we should-"

"Oliver please I'm not trying to be with anyone right now and worst being with an ex who cheated, and you know what I don't want to be rude but I have to g do... something"

"Okay Ava, just if you need anyone to talk to you can talk to me"

"Thanks"

I sat on the couch and a few minutes went by when I heard the doorbell "ugh what Oliver?" I asked opening the door but for my surprise it wasn't Oliver.

"Oliver was here? why was Oliver here?"

"That's none of your business Luke"

"It is my business cause I still care about you" he said grabbing both of my arms and pulling me close to him , being so close to him made me feel weak, I wanted to kiss him, I wanted to hug him.

"Let go of me" I said trying to get away "Do you really want me to let you go? I'm here to ask you one last time Ava, is this over? there's no way I can make you believe me?"

"Oliver cheated on me once and I left him, so why shouldn't I leave you? you are no longer in my life, I don't want to see you again" I managed to say, I managed to say without my voice cracking.

He let go of me and nodded "okay, Bye Ava... I hope you don't regret this! cause I've never loved someone like I love you and once you realize that you'll be so sorry of blaming me of something I didn't do! I promise you that Ava, you will regret this" He said, he's voice broke a little and he looked like he was about to cry "Go" I said, he nodded and got in his car...
