Chapter ten

Maya's pov

When I look up to see my hero, I see Chance getting hit in the stomach multiple times and I gasp. Jace is holding Chance while Mason punches him. Right then I see Konner walk in angrily but then he realizes what is going on and helps Chance by throwing Chance across so he can regain himself while Konner fights them.

I run over to Chance holding my cheek that feels like crap.

"Are you okay" I whisper and Chance nods, I kiss him on the cheek for at least trying to save me. I turn to see Konner grabbing both guys by their shirts and throwing them out of the room shutting the door.

"I had it under control" Chance snaps at Konner and Konner glares at Chance.

"Yeah it looked like it" Konner retorts rolling his eyes. That's when  I really looked at his eye.

"Konner you have a forming black eye"  I say walking over to him ignoring both their comments.

"Yeah, it's fine they got in a few punches" Konner says shrugging it off and Chance has a confused look on his face.

"No, this one looks like it's been sitting for a good 30 minutes" I say lightly touching it.

"It's fine Maya, are you okay" Konner responses sighing.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I shrug.

"Well what did they do?" Konner asked in a duh tone.

"Nothing rea-" I start but get cut off by Chance. 

"They beat her and tried to rape her" Chance says angrily and my face turned red, like really Chance if I wanted him to know I would have told him myself.

"Wow, What about you Chance?" Konner ask smirking because he knows Chance can't fight.

"They overpowered me" Chance says and Konner burst out laughing making me punch him the side.

"Well thank you Chance for trying" I say kissing his cheek again and Konner's jaw drops.

"I get nothing if it weren't for me he would have been in a coma and you would have been raped, if it got to that point if they raped you I would have killed them while this guy would probably try to talk it out but he wouldn't be able to because he would be dead because they would have killed him because he is a wimp an-"  Konner rambles but I cut him off by kissing his cheek and giving him a hug.

"Thank you Konner" I mumble into his chest and he wraps his arms around me.

"Of course Tinker bell" Konner says and I push him away and he chuckles.

"You just have to ruin a good moment" I say trying to hold back a smile and Chance clears his throat.

"I'm still here" Chance mumbles annoyed and I roll my eyes at his jealousy.

"Okay let's get Kayla and go home" I say walking out with the boys following, but Chance if moving so slow, from the multiple punches.

I was about to walk off and get Kayla myself and leave Chance with Konner but Konner picks me up and puts me over his shoulder.

"Nope, princess to much drama for one night, you are not walking off by yourself" Konner says and I frown, my face turning red. "I know you're angry Tinker bell and your face is probably really red in which I find adorable by the way, but you will be thanking me later because if Jace and Mason tried to do it once they will probably try again, and yes I could just let you down and hold your hand or something but frankly i'm enjoying the view" Konner says and I want to flick him off but there would be no point considering he can't see my face.

"You know how many other guys would 'Enjoy the view' if you don't put me down" I snap, saying 'Enjoy the view' in my best guy voice .

I feel something warm cover my tosh and I turn to see Konner putting his jacket over it and I breathe out in annoyance.

"There" Konner says and I don't even have to look to know he is smirking.

"Konner put her down" Chance snaps but Konner ignores.

I look over and see Kayla dancing with some dude.

"Konner, Chance I see her!" I yell happily, I can't believe i'm not drunk know that I think about it. I did drink a lot so no i'm just confused.

Konner  turns around and walks towards her and so does Chance. Chance grabs Kayla and we leave.

We make it back and everyone gets out except Chance and I because he want's to talk to me.

"Yes Chance" I say tiredly.

"Will you go out with me?" Chance ask and my eyes go wide.  "You know what, i'll let you think about it and ask you again tomorrow" Chance adds and I nod still surprised. 

"Let's go" I say and we get out.

Chance gets in one shower and Kayla in the other while i'm in the kitchen separating the popcorn from extra butter to no butter at all.

"Hey Maya, okay I know we didn't start off on the right foot but I wanted to know if you would go out with me"  A voice I know is Konner's says and I drop one of the popcorns I was about to put in. 

Poor popcorn.
