Chapter fourteen

Maya's pov

I run upstairs with Konner chasing me.

"Konner if you kill me I won't be seeing you any time soon" I yell closing my door and locking it.

"Why is that princess?" Konner asked from the other side of my door and I roll my eyes.

"Because you will be in hell for killing me" I mutter in a 'duh' tone and Konner chuckles.

"I wouldn't see you either way because I knew heaven wouldn't take me and Hell's afraid i'll take over" Konner says and I hear a lot of noise.

"Konner what are you doing?" I ask not sure if I really want the answer.

"Oh tink......tink, tink, tink, my adorable little brown haired friend, you see knowing you, you probably lock yourself out of your room a couple, oh I don't know 1000 times, so there has to be a key around here somewhere" Konner chuckles making me freeze because it's true.

I run into my closet which is fairly big and hide behind a giant silver fluffy dress that I am going to wear to prom. I hear the door unlock and I put a hand over my mouth to silence my breathing a little.

"Would you look at that, all your makeup, it would be a shame if they somehow fell out of the window"  Konner says and I shrug to myself, I can just go outside and pick it up. "What is this a little golden dog stuffed animal thing it would be ashamed if someone burned it" Konner says and I run out of the closet with a red hanger in my hand.

"Konner don't you dare" I yell throwing a hanger at him.

"What the heck Maya" Konner screams when the hanger hits him directly in the face. I snatch biscuit from Konner and set her on my bed.

"What, you were going to hurt her" I say shrugging and Konner rolls his eyes.

"So I threaten your 100 dollar makeup and you do nothing but when I threaten a stuffed toy you go all mad hatter" Konner says annoyed and confused and I sheepishly smile.

"Makeup can be replaced Konner, you don't get rid of things you know you can't replace" I say sitting down next to biscuit.

"Your crazy" Konner responds smirking

"The best people are" I say smiling.

"I'm still going to kill you princess" Konner says and his smirk gets bigger.

"Fine,but you know where my will is, so go ahead, finish me off, give me your worst, I deserve it, at least in heaven there will be an endless supply of mac and cheese, I will never forgive you, in fact when I breathe my final breath i'll make sure to stick up my middle finger, Tell my friends I love them, tell Tracy,Mason,Reece and Jace that I said to go to hell, Tell the cheer team that I liked being the captain,and I probably would have loved it if they had listened to me more, Thats all I have to say, So go ahead Konner kill me off" I respond in the most dramatic voice I could pull off.

"Okay" Konner shrugs holding up a knife and my jaw drops.

"I was just kidding, did I mention how awesome your hair looks today, oh and i'm liking that new shirt, If my friend asked me who is the hottest guy in the school I would say you, isn't it a lovely day we are having, today reminds me of you, Are you a banana because you look a-pelling, aside from being sexy what else do you do for a living?, I might as well call you google because you're everything i'm searching for, Are you Australian? Cuz you meet all of my koala-fanfictions, If you were a transformer you would be a hot-obot called optimus fine, If you kill me you will be suffering from vitamin me *Wink*, I'll give you a ki-" I get cut off by the end of my rant with Konners laughter as he looks at me amused.

"Really Maya, pick up lines, that's how you were going to save yourself" Konner says doubled over with laughter and I bite my lip and suck in a deep breath.

"Konner, I am just a girl, a girl trying to make it in this big world all by myself, I need structure and.....and happiness, don't kill me off, I know I said you looked like my brothers big toe and that I would be committing suicide with your ego and iq crap but.....but  in the end I am still just a girl?" I say even more dramatically not knowing where I was going with this speech.

Konner is on the floor laughing and clutching his stomach.

"Your something else, Gates" Konner says trying to breathe. 

"So.......am I off the hook?" I ask with a giant hopeful smile.

"Nope, you will be of the hook if you do this one thing" Konner says and I frown.

There is always a catch.
