Chapter eleven

Maya's pov

Younger Maya

"Maya do you want to play dress up" My mommy ask and I nod, Mommy never played dress up with me, Mommy got mad a lot and she would hit me really hard but she was very pretty. She had long wavy brown hair and brown eyes with a few freckles.

"Yay" I scream grabbing onto my favorite stuffed animal biscuit, biscuit was a golden dog. I got her name from the book, and when I got biscuit she was always there for me.

Mommy put me in a really short red dress and started doing my makeup. 

"I don't want makeup mommy!" I yell pushing it away and she goes to get the switch angrily and I instantly become scared... I would pee but that would only make mommy more mad, plus biscuit and I are potty trained.

"You are going to pay for that little girl" My mommy yelled angry.

"I'm sorry mommy I-I didn't mean to p-please don-" I get cut off when Mommy yanks me by my hair into the restroom.

She strikes me once with the switch and I cry. then again then again and I see blood on the floor which gives me a bad feeling in my stomach.

"Are you bleeding!!!" Mommy yells angry and I cry more, curled up in a ball next to the bath tub .

"Y-yes" I mumble and mommy takes the dress off me. 

"Get into the tub now!" she demands hitting me again with the switch and I hurry up and get into the tub.

Mommy scrubs my back with soap and water and it burns a lot but it feels better than the switch. I sit with my arms around my knees and my hair falling at my sides.

"You are very beautiful Maya, guys would pay to have you" My mommy says adding a really mean laugh at the end and I get scared. Guys always say girls have cooties, if anything guys have cooties I mean look at them.

"I don't like the kids in my class" I whisper as mommy washes my hair. The tub is a faded red due to my blood and I want to cry because she is washing me with my own bloody water!

"I'm not talking about kids sweetheart" Mommy says putting me back in the dress and putting makeup on me. She does my hair and smiles as a guy I don't know walks in.

"Mommy who is he" I ask clutching on to biscuit.

"This guy is going to give you a couple of kisses" My mommy says walking out and I yell  as the guy shuts the door.

"Mommy I don't want his kisses" I scream crying.

The guy kisses me pinning me to the floor as I cry, he removes my dress and I scream.

"Mommy"  I cry out in pain.

I wake up screaming and breathing hard. My aunt walks in and I cry in her arms.

"Shhh Maya it's okay" My aunt says and I cry harder. I grab my dog biscuit and my aunt gives me a sad smile as I sniffle.

"W-when will it stop" I ask, my voice breaking.

"When will what stop" My aunt ask stroking my hair softly.

"The pain" I whisper and my aunt gives me another hug and cries with me.

"Don't worry baby, it gets better, I don't know when it will for you but it will" My aunt says sniffling.

"I'm sorry for waking you up" I whisper.

"It's okay" She says and I nod,

"Where did everyone go?" I ask looking at the clock to see it's 1:30am.

"Well after whatever you guys went to do, you guys watched a movie and you fell asleep. It was either Konner or Chance who brought you to bed and they all left" My aunt says and I nod starting to remember. "Konner left you a note" My aunt says giving me the paper.

"Thank you" I say giving her a hug and she kisses the top of my head.

"Try to get some sleep" My aunt says and I nod.

I open the note and roll my eyes when I see what it says.
