butterflies - kaoru

A rainbow butterfly, one of the rarest butterflies in the world, they say it's supposed to bring to destined lovers together.

[ Third Person ]

Kaoru smiled as he continued to do his project for class, his objective was to study nature, so he examined every insect and plant he saw, his tongue slightly sticking out as he wrote things down.

He walked for a bit, his notebook in hand, searching for something new, he's walked up and down the same street trying to find something, but it was all the same.

He sighed, sitting on a bench, the sun was already starting to set, he was extremely tired, but he made sure he didn't fall asleep on the bench.

He knew his twin brother was probably worried sick about him, so he texted Hikaru saying that he was alright, and as he looked up from his phone, he saw a glimpse of colour fly past him.

He sat still, turning his head slowly so the winged creature wouldn't fly off, and he looked on the hand rest of a bench, seeing a colourful butterfly, he tried to get a closer look, but it began to fly.

He chased after it, following it's every turn, it had multiple colours on it, marroon, red, purple, and blue on the middle of it, yellow and green on the outer part of the wings.

And all of a sudden, it stopped flying, landing safely on the concrete wall that was only about waist high, and it landed right beside you.

Kaoru eyed you up and down, your h/c hair flowing perfectly, your e/c looking out into the colourful sunset, the way your legs dangled off of the concrete wall, barely touching the ground.

Kaoru couldn't help staring, you just looked so beautiful.

You almost put him in a trance, until you looked over at him, the sudden movement made him realize he was probably making you uncomfortable.

"Uh - hi," You stuttered, when he heard your voice it made him want to melt, you were just so amazing, he nearly got lost in your eyes.

"Oh! Hello, can I um - sit here?" He asked, feeling blood rushing to his cheeks, you nodded, with a slight smile on your face.

Kaoru sat next to you, the butterfly flying up, leaving the two of you alone, Kaoru completely forgot about the butterfly when he saw you.

"I'm Y/N," You said to him, holding out your hand, looking at him, and you knew too, that you were slowly falling for him, after you heard his voice.

"Kaoru," He gladly shook your hand, unable to get your smile out of his head, he just met you, but he already felt the new beginning of love.

He was under your spell,

and you were under his.
