Chapter 5
I felt something hard hit my cheek. My vision cleared as I was sitting near the campfire and it was dark. Aylward and Sage looked at me strangely.
"Who slapped me?" I question.
"Aylward!" Sage said pointing his finger at Aylward like only a 3 year old would.
I glared at him. "Hey, I didn't know how to snap you out of it" he said defensively.
"What exactly were you trying to snap me out of?"
"The same thing happened before we left" Sage said. "Remember? You were screaming and starring off into space but when we snapped you out of it you didn't remember a thing."
I thought about what happened, "everything's blurry."
"You can't remember anything that happened when you were screaming?" Aylward asked and I shook my head.
"That's so strange" Sage said looking like he was stroking an invisible beard.
"Sage" I said laughing at him.
"What? This is how I think" he said smiling.
I rolled my eyes, "whatever."
Everything was better after a while but Sage kept trying to figure out why I kept screaming bloody murder in my sleep. Jasmine obviously didn't seam to be affected by my screams earlier because she was asleep in her spot on the ground. Well, someone's a heavy sleeper.
I laid back down and thought about going to sleep. I didn't want to have another one of those 'night terrors'. However I was tired and soon my exhaustion beat the stress that flooded my mind.

"Wakie wakie eggs and bakie!"
Sage's yelling interrupted my peaceful sleep. I reached my arm around for my sword or anything to hit him with.
"Nope Arina, I moved all pointy objects away from you!" Sage said. I groaned and opened my eyes only to shut them again seconds later. The sun was too bright, I closed my eyes again.
"Come on Arina!" Sage yelled.
I began to feel someone poking my side. "Poke me one more time and you loose your arm."
"Aww you wound me" Sage exclaimed dramatically.
I groaned but slowly sat up and opened my eyes. First thing I see is Sage smiling wildly. "What's got you so happy?"
"Don't know, mornings are nice" he smile grew even bigger.
"Ew no, mornings are evil" I said. After battling with myself I finally got up and stretched.
Within the hour we had eaten and were all packed up. We headed off and the majority of the elf lands has no roads so it was fun to trying to find your way around. It's nice though, having no roads to follow makes you enjoy nature more.
"I think we're almost there" Sage said looking in all different directions.
"We are" Aylward confirmed.
"Jasmine you okay?" I asked. She was walking in silence looking down at the ground.
She looked up and smiled "I'm fine thanks."
"We're here" Aylward announced.
It was just as I remembered. We entered the mountain and the familiar cave walls surrounded us. Rubble was still everywhere and small pieces of the castle still stood. Swords and weapons lay on the ground and I dared not look at what else lay on the cool floor.
