"So does this make us back together?" Michael asks me with sympathy in his eyes. "Yes, but I swear Michael if you ever cheat on me again I'll chop off your—" I say before Michael cuts me off "okay okay I promise." He lifts his arms up in defense.

He hugs me tight. I missed him so much.

I walk through the door of my house. "Dad I'm home!" I yell to my dad. Unknowing that he was actually right next to me. "Hey my daughter." He replies into my ear, it scared me.

"Hey can I talk to you?" My Dad says patting the couch next to the spot he just sat in. Great. What other terrible news is he gonna tell me this time. I sit in the spot "what's up?"

"Well you've been dating this guy and I know you're very fond of him, and I'd like to officially meet him?"

The words ring through my head. They're the words that no teenager wants to hear. He wants to meet my boyfriend? "Okay dad. I'll invite him over on Friday around 5:00pm?" 
"Sounds great!" He stands up and walks away.

Hey babes, I need to ask you something.

What's up beautiful?
To: boyfriend <3 (Mikey) at 8:49pm
So my dad has decided he wants to meet you. Would you maybe want to come over Friday around 5:00pm to have dinner with me and my family? .... Well my dad and brother?
From: boyfriend <3 (Mikey) at 8:50pm
Yes baby I'd love to meet them It's a date ;)

I set my phone down and change into my pajamas. I really hope that goes well.

*Friday*

I hear the ring of the door bell, I walk over to get it but my dad gets it before me. There is Michael standing with a bottle of sparkling cider. Classy. He is dressed in black slacks and a button up white shirt. He looked so hot.

"I'm Michael Clifford" he sticks his hand out to shake.
"Nice to meet you Michael, I'm Richard Cariet." He takes his hand. "Come in. Dinner will be done in a little while." Michael walks in and hands my dad the cider.

"Not bad, Clifford." I giggle. "You look really good."
"You do too, Cariet." He says mocking me. We just laugh.
I feel a tug on my dress, I look down to see Joseph. "Oh Mikey this is my little brother, Joseph. Joseph this is Michael. My boyfriend." Mikey smiles at him and waves. "So you're the red headed boy my sister always talks about."

My face turns red. "Okay Joseph that's enough. Bye now." I say scooting him away. I look back at Michael who has a smug smile on his face. "Oh shut up".

We get the through the rest of the night pretty smoothly. We all said our goodbyes and then Michael leaves.

"I like him." My dad says.
"You do? You really do?" I say getting a big smile on my face.
"Yes, he's very respectful and seems like he will treat you right. You have my approval to continue dating him." I don't know why he'd say that, I'd date him whether he liked him or not. Oh well, I'm just gonna choose not to tell him that.

"Thanks dad."
