Chapter 50 {LAST}

{Alanis}

"Okay, all done!" Zayleah says from the seat behind me on the bus.
"Thank you."

I check my phone camera, she had put my hair in a French braid because I got hot and it looks cute. I pull a few hairs out in the front and put my phone away.

"Hey Michael, can you cover me with your jacket? I'm gonna change my shirt."
"But you're wearing your dress, what about bottoms?"
"I act shorts on under, don't worry." I giggle.

I grab out a Led Zeppelin shirt from my bag and he holds the jacket where it covers me. I unzip and slip down my dress. I see Michael's eyes wonder over and he begins to smile at me.
"Damn, that's my girl right there!" He says smugly.

I turn bright red and put the shirt on quickly.
"Okay I'm done."

Michael kisses my lips for a minute and pulls away.
"What was that for?"
"I just love you so much."
"I love you too." He's so adorable.

Almost on queue the bus stops and a tall dark skinned man walks onto the bus. He seems like he could be in his 30's.
"Hey graduates! Welcome to your grad night held here at six flags! Please make sure you don't violate any of the rules we have set out for you and don't do anything stupid that you would regret. Most of all, have a great time." He finished. I notice when he talks he uses his hands a lot. Weird.

We all lump out of the bus loudly.

As soon as we get off it turns out to be me and Michael, Calum and Zayleah, Chance and Kimora, and Leah and Ashton. We begin to walk around and we choose to go on a free fall.

I sit by Michael of course because I hate heights but he made me go. We go up and up and things on the floor start to get small. My head feels dizzy and I'm starting to panic.

"Michael! Hold my hand!" I squeeze his hand.
"Calm down babe! You'll be okay I got you" he laughs at you.
"That's what all the boyfriends say before the girl plunges to her—" I'm cut off by the dropping of the machine.

My stomach feels like it's in a complete knot and I scream at the top of my lungs. Michael's hand is probably in so much pain for how hard I'm squeezing it.

He deserves it for making me go on this ride.

We walk off and I feel dizzy.
"Wasn't that fun?" Chance laughs.
"No it was awful." Michael laughs and hugs me with one arm.

"Hey babe I—uh—I've got to go do something with Calum—" he motions for Calum to go. "and Ashton and" he searches around until he find what he's looking for. "Luke!"

Luke turns his head and then makes his way over. They all walk off and leave all of us girls, and Chance. We decide to just buy a funnel cake and wait for them.

"It's already 11:00 where are they?" I whine.
"I know! I need my cal pal." Zayleah agrees.
"Oh em geeeee" I say unenthusiastically

I look at Chance and he looks like he just seen something so I turn around but he grabs my hands to make me look at him. "Alanis, you need to come with me. You girls can follow too if you want, and I suggest it."

I begin to panic. "What's wrong? Are they okay? Is something happening?"
"Calm down Al. You're gonna love this."

I take a deep breath and keep following Wherever Chance leads me.

We end up in a big empty space in the center of the park. I see a rose petal road way. What the heck?
"Just follow the path." Chance let's go of my hand and let's me go.

I walk along and there are a few turns then I'm stopped at one of those Mobil stages and O see the four boys I met last year, the four boys who made my life so much better. The one who is really catching my eye is Michael, he looks nervous and he smiles at me.

What's going on?

I can't help but to smile as I think of what could happen next.

Suddenly the lights focus on them and I hear Michael's voice begin to speak.

"1 year ago I began to talk to one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met. She always knew how to make me smile. I messed up big time with her, and she still gave me another chance. 7 months ago today actually, she gave me another chance that I didn't deserve. This entire thing goes out to her, you're the reason for my happiness babe and after everything we've been through I find myself start to wonder, how did we end up here?"

I feel a tear run down my cheek and I can't stop smiling.

The lights go dark and the spot light goes on Luke. They all start to play music and he starts to sing.

You walked in
everyone was asking for your name.
You just smiled and told them trouble.

My head spins.
I'm pressed against the wall just watching your every move.
You're way too cool and your coming this way.
Coming this way.

How did we end up talking
in the first place?
You said you liked my Cobain shirt
Now we're walking
back to your place!
You're telling me you love that song about living on a prayer!
I'm pretty sure that we're halfway there and when I walk up next to you I wonder how,
How did we end up here?

Tears begin to rush down my cheeks. I can't stop crying.

And yes, these are tears of complete and utter joy.

Once they finish the amazing song Michael walks down the steps towards me.

"Alanis, the sweet darling love of my life, I want you in my life forever. No matter what road we took to get here, I'm glad we did. I don't regret a single moment of being with you. We've been through so much and we're still going strong. I know this may seem early but I am so fucking in love with you it's ridiculous." Michael bends down on one knee and my cheeks are soaked. My stomach is in knots for what's coming next and I'm so excited.

"Alanis Rose Cariet, would you do me the great honor of agreeing to be mind forever." He opens up a ring box and it's so beautiful. I cover my mouth in shock.

"Will you marry me?"

"Yes. Fucking yes Michael! Oh my gosh I love you so much!" He places the ring on my hand and kisses me passionately.

Everyone begins to cheer and we're both crying. His lips are exactly what I need. He's all I ever need.
