Chapter 48

{Michael}

I sit next to Calum and Chance and wait for Alanis, Kimora, and Zayleah to come back. They wanted to go to Victoria Secret so we decided to stay here and eat pizza instead.

"So when are you going to do it?" Calum asks me anxiously.
"Yeah come on dude I can't wait to see her reaction." I shoot Chance and death glare.
"I will. I think I'll do it tomorrow. At grad night, but don't you say anything to her, curly. I don't want her to know" I refer to Chance as curly.
"I won't" he holds his hands up in defense.
"Well let me know because I want to be there to see it."
"Okay. I will—" I glance over and see Alanis, Zay, and Kimora walking towards us. "Okay now everyone shut up. Here they come."

All the girls sit next to their others. "Whatcha guys talkin about?" Zay says looking around at all of us. I don't know what I should tell them. They can't find out.

"Oh we were just talking about Chance's rash" I try not to laugh, but that was a good one.
"He—" Chance starts but I give him a glare. "Yeah it's bad." He scratches his side.

I giggle to myself.

{Alanis}

I try to hold back a laugh as Chance talked about his rash. I don't want to be mean but it's funny.

Michael grabs my hand and pulls me closer. He sets his arm around my shoulder. I place my leg on his and I rest my head on his shoulder.

I yawn widely and close my eyes, he leans his head on mine.

It feels so nice to be close to him. Tomorrow is our 7 month and I'm excited.

He just makes me so happy.

I love him so much.

I walk into my house around 6:00pm and I'm so tired. I walk to the kitchen and see my dad sitting alone.
"Hey dad."
"Hey precious."
"Where's Olivia and Leah?"
"Oh they wanted to have a mother daughter thing. How was the mall?"
"It was fun."

I sit across from him as we continue on our conversation.

"So are you ready for graduation tomorrow? It only happens once you know?"
"Yeah I think I am. You're coming right?"
"Of course, princess."

He stands up and kisses my forehead then walks off to bed. "Goodnight. I'll see you tomorrow morning. I love you."
"Love you too dad."

I grab an apple and head up to my room after turning off all of the lights.

I check my phone and see two new messages. I check the one from Michael first.

From: Cowboy Mikey at 7:12pm
Goodnight babe, can't wait for tomorrow! :)

I smile at his text and send a quick goodnight. The next message is from Zay.

From: Zay :) at 7:13pm
Hey can I come over? I need to talk to someone :'(
To: Zay :) at 7:16pm
Yeah .. come from the back and I'll let you in.

I send he text and wait patiently. I wonder what's bothering her so much. Hopefully she's okay.

Zayleah texts me to let me know she's outside. I walk down and let her in. She has tears in her eyes and I quickly embrace her into a warm hug.
"Hey Z what's wrong?"
"I think the boys are lying to us."
"What do you mean? Which boys? And what made you think this?"
"Calum, Michael, and Chance. Today when you and Michael left me and Kimora were talking to Calum and they were definitely hiding something."
"Okay Zay calm down. We'll talk to them tomorrow, but let's not jump to conclusions. I'm sure if they even were keeping something, which I doubt they are, but it would be for a good reason."

She takes and deep breathe and rests her head on a throw pillow lying on the couch.
"Okay." She closes her eyes.
"Alright Zayleah Rose Janisis—" I giggle at me using her full name. "You can sleep here. Goodnight."

I hand her a blanket and lay on the other couch.

A/N: I'm sorry this chapter is super short but it was just a filler. We now are two chapters away from the ending of this book!

I wanted to post before the end of the day because I wanted to say this:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL CLIFFORD !! CAN YOU GUYS BELIVE HES TURNING 21 LIKE WTF?!?!
