When I got home, I went straight to my computer to search the word. I couldn't believe it...it's German! Why would they talk German? Why is there German students in our school all of a sudden? Are they exchange students? The school would've said something about exchange students. Now I'm very curious about them. The word "finden" means "find". What do they want to find?

The next day when I sat by my locker, the red headed boy approached me. He stared at me while I'm miserably failing to get my books. I began to feel uncomfortable, so I decided to talk to him first.
"Hey, you want to stare at me the whole day, or talk?" I say irritated. He came out of his trance and began talking to me.
"Sorry, it's just... something about you looks very familiar." He answered. Now I feel very uncomfortable.
"Okay, well, what do you want?"
"I just wanna talk."
"Well, make it quick, because I have to get to class." I say a little snappy.
"Hey, don't be so defensive, I didn't do anything wrong."
"Yeah, say that to the other people you talk to!" I said a little louder than I thought.
He became alerted and stood a little straighter.
"What are they saying about me?"
"You don't know? Well, they say that you and your little group talks to people, and out of nowhere, walks away and blow them off. If you keep doing it, no one will talk to you guys before the end of the year!" I yell softly at him.
"Well I don't care what they think. I'm not planning on staying that long anyway. Sorry I wasted your time." And then he stormed off.

What did he mean by not staying that long? What the heck?!

When I got to my class, the brunette guy sat next to me.
"Hey" he said to me.
"What do you want?"
"Relax, I just wanted to say 'hi'. My name's Grover. What's yours?" He sounds more cheerful than little red rudeness. Why do they want to know my name?
"Wouldn't you like to know ." I say matter-of-factly.
"Hey, just tryna be friendly."
"Sir and madam, do you want to share with the rest of the class what your conversation is about?"
We both shake our heads, and we all returned to normal and did our work.

When the bell rang, I quickly packed my books away. I feel bad for how I behaved, I just want to make things right. He looks like a very friendly guy.
"By the way, my name's Kendra, but everyone calls me Kenny."
His face became as white as a ghost just before I wheeled away.

What just happened?
