Chapter 13- The Night

Adam's POV:

I asked Ross if he was okay. He responded with a scratchy voice, "Yeah.. just.. wondering." "Wondering what?" I wanted to know if my love was okay. "About the guys." He replied, unhappily. "Want to invite them over for dinner? I'm making grilled chicken." I answered him.

"Sure!" His voiced lightened a little. "Okay, I'll text them to come over," and with that, then guys were over in less than 15 minutes. "Hey!" They all greeted. "Hey guys! Where's Tim?" I asked. "He had to go to a meeting for his part-time job." Max replied flatly.

I glared at him. "I wasn't asking you, I was asking Jin!" I shouted a little too loud. The guys stared at me like I was insane. Ross then came out of the room, still in his suit. "Hey!" I said happily.

The all hugged him and we all started talking a bit. "So when did you think about buying this?" Steven asked. He had came with them. I answered, "Since Ross started wanting to move in with us." Ross nodded, and Max looked a little sad.

Ross went and hugged him and Max whispered something. "Hey guys, wanna go eat now?" Ross asked. I nodded, and with that we went to eat dinner.

Tim's POV:

A little bit later, we finished, and Max had just been staring since he finished. I was beside him, so I waved my hand in front of his face. He didn't react. I shook him and he jumped. "What happened?!" He yelled.

"Don't worry, Max, it's just us." I whispered over to him, "What's wrong, Max?" He looked over to the balcony and signaled me to go with him. "We'll be right back." I told the guys. Max and I got up and walked through the glass doors and looked over the edge at the ground.

"So..?" I questioned him, and his eyes started to tear up. "Ross tried to.. to.." I grabbed his arm softly and pulled him into a hug, knowing he was going to say kill himself. "Don't worry, he'll be better after this is over, and when you two are official. You'll help him, you'll make him love himself again to where he never wants to leave this world.. or you."

I let go to see his cheeks stained with tears. He wiped his eyes. "T-thanks. Where's the bathroom? I want to wipe my face off." I pointed and told him where it was, and he left to go there. I walked inside, and the guys were playing Uno.

I asked if I could join in next round, and Adam said yes. "Where did Max run to?" "The bathroom, he was just stressed." Jin whispered, "Was it about Ross?" I nodded and he did the same, continuing the game.
