*Nevaeh's POV*
I woke that morning to Hevean softly tapping me and whispering wake up.
I scrunched my nose and opened my eyes
"Why the sudden sweetness in our morning routine?"
I saw her slightly shaking in fear.
"I didn't want you to get mad" she admitted tentatively.
She scrunched up her nose and looked at me strangely.
"You smell like wet dog"
Well that does make sense but how would she know?
I sniffed her, she smelled like vampire. Not a good sign.
"You smell like dead people" I commented.
"I thought that was a dream!" She whispered to herself.
She rubbed at a bruise on her arm.
We both sat there awkwardly staring at each other until my phone rang.
We both jumped.
"Hello?"
"Hey it's me"
I smiled "Aidan?"
"Ya, you need to come with me now."
"What why?" I frowned.
"You need to come to the training facility"
"Training what?"
I said in softer voice so Heaven wouldn't hear. I got up and walked over to the other side of the room for more privacy.
"I just found something. It's a prophecy. I need to train you for the final battle"
"Final battle? What about school? I mean I'm totally ok with skipping but how will I explain this to my parents?"
"Haha, of course your ok with skipping" he said in a mocking tone "my brother knows all of this and he is FBI. I'll have him tell your family that we are recruiting you. I mean we kind'a are" I could hear the smile in his voice.
"You know we are breaking about a thousand laws" I smiled as I started gathering stuff.
"Ya whatever. Laws are meant to be broken"
"That's rules, rules are meant to be broken" I laughed.
"Same thing" he joked back
"I'll have my brother come pick you up in about half an hour. Think you can be ready by then?"
"You question me? I'll be ready in 10" I smirked.
"Well that's great for you but my brother can't be there that fast. If he rushes maybe he can make it in about 20 but that's about it"
"That's ok. I need to make an excuse for my sister anyway. It's perfect."
"Ok, bye"
"Bye"
He hung up.
I immediately looked up to see Heaven crossing her arms and frowning at me, one eyebrow raised.
"So, your excuse?" She looked almost angry.
"I'm being drafted" technically I wasn't lying..... I just didn't tell her what I was being drafted to.
I walked out before she could ask any more questions.
Time to mentally prepare for the next big life changer.
I'm actually a little excited.

*Heaven's POV*
That day after school I came home to a note on the fridge and my parents gone.
I read the note.
"I have you're parents.
And they are going to die
Meet me at the warehouse at the other end of the town by a lake.
You can't miss it it's easy to find.
Meet me there tonight at 1:00 AM"
That's an odd message but ok.
I can't let my parents die.
Dear diary,
My parents have been taken. The are probably going to die.
Internally screaming.
