A loud roar is heard from the large beast below me. He rears backwards, and grabs me with his huge paw, throwing me off of him, and into the ground harshly.

I pounce off the ground in seconds, the bear charging for me, roaring with anger. I mentally smirk, and I lunge at him the same time he does me.

We end up in a stand up fight. It's easier for him, since bears have that structure, but it doesn't stop me from being able to fight back with just as much fight.

Sharp teeth knock together, as we both aim for each other's necks in attempts to get into that very important vein. Getting tired of this repetitiveness, I let my back legs slip under me, causing the bear to have the advantage above me.

Before he attacks, my back claws extend, and I start scratching into his stomach sharply. He lets out a pained snarled, but stays above me. He snaps for my neck, but I'm able to dodge, and move onto my side slightly.

Big mistake.

He was smart enough to feign it, and instead, bites down onto my chest harshly. A loud, pain-filled yowl escapes my mouth, and reverberates through the thick trees.

I'm able to get out of his hold, and swipe with my front claws at his eyes before he can comprehend. Thankfully, I actually get them, and that causes him to stumble back in pain.

Before he can recover, I latch onto his neck again, and break his neck swiftly. I drop him to the ground, and don't hesitate to slice his side open with my huge claws.

I let out an animalistic burp, as I finish the last of this bear. All that's left is some extra meat and fur, clinging to the huge skeleton for dear life.

Blood is dripping from my chin, smeared across my face and paws. I slowly get up, and stretch out my limbs, then submerge myself into the river beside us.

A searing pain stabs me on the left side of my ribs.I had forgotten about that bite. I stay in the cool water, to flush it out, trying to make it heal.

But it does not.

I quickly rinse my muzzle and paws, then get out of the water. I shake, becoming somewhat dry in a few seconds. My clothes had ripped apart when I ran away from Yui, not bothering to carefully take them with me in my hungered frenzy.

I quickly shift to my normal form, and gasp at what I see. A huge bear, bite mark is bleeding profusely around my left ribs, going from the front, to slightly the back. And it won't heal.

I was malnourished when we fought, so I was too weak to heal fast enough from this bite. Now it won't go away. Another scar to add I guess.

It does hurt pretty bad, as the bear had punctured several holes into my pale skin.

Fighting through the slowly numbing pain, I shift into a falcon, and shoot up into the air. I look around, and find that I had ran about 5 miles into the forest. I'm still able to see the ridiculously large mansion, and start flying towards it at a blinding speed.

I find an open window, and blast past it. Shifting mid-crash, I roll onto the ground painfully, keeping some extra fur on my body, along with ears and tail so no one has to see more of me.

"Oh my god!" I hear Yui's high-pitched voice scream. Seconds later, Yui, Subaru, Yuma, and Ruki are looming above me.

Painful groans leave my mouth as I try to get up, but fall back down to the wooden floor.

Broke my ribs. Again.

They slowly heal as I lay there in pain, Yui's frantic voice filling my ears painfully.
