Remember that night
When a sole smile had turned the both of us
Back into our old selves,
Into people we fell in love with? When we were down with friends
Riding past the city lights
And turning the radio on
Without knowing where we're heading? That moment when we lay under the stars
Nibbling notes on constellations
Writing my name with yours
Hoping that nothing would go wrong? That night when you pushed a strand behind my ear
Staring down at me with your blue eyes so clear,
As I started to pull you closer
Gripping you gently, taking in the heat? That moment when kissing you was momentarily momentous; not bothering what happens tomorrow or what the consequences would be?
Remember that night?
When we pretended that I were yours,
And you were mine?
