how can a destroyer
have such an innocent face
arms are made of steel and iron
yet she still long for his embracehow can a human-wrecker
have such mesmerizing eyes
with ice covering his entire soul
and mouth speaking out liesa boy produced by storms
sent lightning to her spine
four letters she had ached for
it was to be called, "mine"yet the boy was independent
like storms, he went away
leaving her with the pieces
of her heart that had gone straybut everyday, she waited for the storm
even when the sun shines so bright
wanting to be struck again,
she neglected the sun's lightbut the storm never came
and the sun was there, still
but she kept on waiting and waiting
even if it's not God's willand at last, he came back again
and the same process was done
he stayed for a little bit longer,
and again, he was gone.
