the stars seem to shine brighter tonight
but nothing can beat your glitter and gold
the spark ignited,
the cold subsided,
a love story that's about to unfold
and words were spilled like angels sung
the truth from your lips had shown
your eyes formed stars
your smile radiates
you can make my heart open with your words alone
i never knew i longed for this moment
to be with you and sit beside you again
how i missed the talk
the laughters, the tears,
i silently prayed that this won't come to an end
but i know it will, it always does
and everything will turn back to the old
a bittersweet memory,
a hint of maybe
a story that's felt, but was left untold
