Now early January and Eden hasn't set foot outside of her house, she laid in Dante's bed and hardly ate anything. The rain fell none stop and clouds were forever dark. The kingdom of Gloire was now a wetland, people hardly came outside anymore but the witch hunt for Evelyn continued. Some people say they see her twelve o' clock every night standing outside of the castle but Eden knew they were just trying scare others or gain money from their stories.

Often Eden would go down the basement to release her anger on Zanique's body, she let Nathanael continue to work for her but she let him go shortly after when he volunteered to go find Dante.

Dante's words constantly echoed through the Countess' mind, she didn't realise that he blamed their love and not the couple who constantly abused them.
"Eden! What is wrong with you?" Rafael bursted through the door. Eden would ask how he got in but she already knew that Sebastian put him up to this.

"Have you come to reprimand me about my childish behavior too?" Eden asked dismally and Rafael's heart melted at the sight of her like this. "Cause if that's what you're here to do, it won't end well for you." she warned.

"I'm not afraid of you. What could a woman possibly do to me?" Rafael laughed.

"Not all women are weak, but you can continue being a sexist pig if you must, at this point nothing matters to me anymore."

"Eden if you do not get out of this house right now, I will make it a point of my duty to be here everyday to annoy you." Rafael promised and it scared Eden cause seeing him actually brought a little light into her life and the last thing she needed right now was a light to assure that everything was going be alright because nothing is alright without Dante.

"I'm sure you won't have enough time to bother me but by all means mister Infernus, go ahead and try." Eden smiled. She had a plan to keep the light away and it was damn good one. "I suggest you leave before I do something I probably will regret later on."

"I initially came here to tell you that there'll be an execution tomorrow night at the King's birth night celebration. I know you'll say no but I was wondering if you could accompany me?" Rafael asked bracing himself for the expected no he would receive.

"Who is the poor victim that you falsely accused of witchery?" Eden asked hoping it's somebody she really dislikes then maybe she might come out to play.

" Patricia Bennett." The Hunter informed causing Eden's eyes to bulge when she heard the name for Patricia was indeed a witch from the oldest family of traditional witches, The Bennett Witches. Eden sat up in the bed as she bombarded him with questions.

"H-h-how did you find out about her? Let alone s-subdue her?" Eden stutter, she was trying hard to keep calm, she couldn't believe someone as careful as Patricia got caught. What does that mean for her who isn't really putting much effort into hiding what she is?

"Her relatives said she was speaking in different languages and setting things on fire with just her gaze. We witnessed it for ourselves when we fought the feisty lass."

Eden was now confused as to why Linda, Carla and Tiana would do such a thing when they were also Bennett witches like their sister. Unless.......they had something to gain from their sister's demise. "Yes I'll be at the celebration." Rafael's face lit up like a fireworks when heard her say that but the light quickly faded when she told him she was going with Sebastian.

"Okay so I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." Rafael bid her farewell and went on his way in gloom. Eden patiently waited until she heard the door close signaling the hunter was now out of the house, she then rushed out of the room to find her husband cooking which was strange but she had no time to ask why, when and how?

"Sebastian I need sage, mugwort and hibiscus. I'm going to the market I'll be back as soon." she blurted out and rushed through the door leaving a smiling Sebastian who was glad he could have sex with his wife now that she's back on her feet. That's the only thing he thinks about.

Eden walked as quickly as she could through the rain to butcher's shop, it was already dusk and she didn't like being on the road alone, powerful witch or not. "I need a sheep's head please." she smiled at the overweight man who eyed her suspiciously before turning around to find what she requested. She waited almost 6 minutes for the butcher to get give her the head, she was now drenched in water. "Thank you." she paid him twice the amount he was to receive and ran off leaving a happy butcher.

As Eden hurried to her house she couldn't help but notice a man in a black cloak watching her as she made her way home. She was about to stop when she saw Bastian coming towards her. "What took you so long my love?" Bastian questioned.

"No time for questions we need to get home fast Bastian."

"Can't make we our own door?" Bastian asked making reference to teleportation, they ran behind a nearby store and concentrated on their house till they appeared there.

They quickly set the head on the table and pulled out it's eyes mixing it with the sage, hibiscus and mugwort and a drop off Eden's blood then proceeded to light the ingredients.
"By this firelight, bestow unto us the gift of sight, so we may find our sister Patricia in the shadows of this night." as the fire fizzled out, images were displayed on the smoke that rose from the burnt ingredients.

It was Patricia and the man in the black cloak. She was tied up in a basement with fancy columns similar to the ones in the castle. "She's under the castle. But with who?................."
