A picture of The Countess
It was two days after the last execution and things really seemed like they were settling. Eden sat in her quarters brushing her long wavy hair while her lover trailed kisses all over her neck. "You're not getting anymore sex, you know that right?" Eden informed causing Sebastian to groan in sexual deprivation. "My love I want more of you."
"And tonight you shall have more but as of now I am off limits. I am being summoned to the castle for a meeting of the selectmen, I won't be back for a while. Will you be alright without me."
"Are you implying that I'm helpless without you." Bastian feigned hurt. "I didn't imply anything, you did and if my memory serves me well, I think we have two maids and a butler so you'll be fine. I love you." and with that Eden made her way outside.
She walked through kingdom saying hi and bye to strangers and giving money to beggars. Eden was known through the kingdom for her fairness and extreme beauty that bewitched all who laid eyes upon her. This was one the things the queen had hated about her. The king would always choose Eden's side no matter how insane it was. "Someone's extra charitable today." Dante appeared behind her as she gave an old lady some money.
"Well look who decided to show his face after two whole days. What did you do?"
"Nothing. Well nothing yet at least. I'm assuming you're going to the meeting, you should know that there is where I'll begin my act of revenge."
"I didn't know this was about revenge. I thought you wanted to save the people."
"Making Evelyn pay is going to save the people." Eden knew that Dante was far past reasoning with, even though he was the nicer one, he always fancied himself judge, jury and executioner.
"You should know that the castle is warded against all magic so what ever you're planning will fail." Eden smirk knowing that he didn't think that far. Dante wasn't the one who usually came up with the plans so she could always count on him to not think too far.
They arrived at the castle being greeted by everyone who they passed. Eden found it annoying, while Dante thought it was flattering. After a five minute walk through the castle they reached the meeting room.
"Ah so glad you could make it!" Father David Infernus greeted. Eden just smiled and made her way to her seat but Dante just had to go in for a hug earning a scoff from Magistrate Gabriel Hale. They all took their seats and began talking about imports and exports and other things concerning the kingdom. We were about to be dismissed when Evelyn spoke up. "What are we going to do about the witches?"
"With all due respect your majesty, you have no real proof that witches exist or if they're even living among us." Gabriel objected.
"Are you saying that I'm a liar." Evelyn got pissed, she didn't like when others opposed her. "No your majesty but you haven't given us any proof yet."
The king was snickering at Evelyn's priceless expression, she looked like she would pop at any moment. " Magistrate Hale in all my sixty five years of being a priest, I can tell you for a fact that witches do exist." Father David spoke out and Evelyn put on her 'gotcha!' face.
"But you are right there is no proof that they living among us." Father continued and the queen finally went 'BOOM'."I am The Queen and if I think there are witches among us there are witches among us! So go find them!" The room went silent a for minute or two.
"Well she's right." Dante spoke up gaining the attention of everyone. "What are doing?" Eden whispered. "Revenge my love, revenge." he smirked. "I think we should trust our queens judgement and find the best witch hunters we can find." he suggested and Eden got pissed causing the candles on the chandelier above their heads to burn a little brighter. "Father David you come from a long line of hunters and I've heard about your sons and their epic journey's, can't they come and solve this madness."
"Yes that is a splendid idea!" Evelyn cheered. "My husband, would you allow it?!" Evelyn practically begged and he caved. "Well then Father, send for your children as soon as possible. We have a witch to catch." she smirked staring at Eden the whole time.
They were dismiss and the cousins silently made their way to their home. They didn't need to say anything, their body language and facial expression said everything for them. They arrived at their and the countess stopped. "What do you think you're doing? Those hunter might find us. What is your plan?" she bombarded the count with questions.
"I don't need to explain anything to you, just know I will do what you couldn't, I'll save them all."
