Pic of Sir Sebastian Van Tassel
Now Saturday evening, October 31st. The Count and Sebastian were preparing for their next move, dressing themselves in full black for the witches sacred holiday called All Hallows Eve. It was also a full moon so the witches will have an immense amount of power at their disposal.
The Countess had just finished braiding her hair so she decided to check on her boys, her husband especially. She didn't want her cousin filling his head with revenge nonsense but she didn't know it was too late.
She entered Dante's room to hear laughter coming from the two. "What are we laughing about?" she interrupted. "I was just telling your husband how you burned that judge alive when he called you a rich man's whore." Dante lied.
Eden would love to believe that but Bastian gave them away. He would always get quiet or look away when he or someone was lying. Eden knew they were planning something. But she just smiled and told them to carry on. She wandered to the dining room and sat down and let her imagination run wild, thoughts were flying everywhere in her head for her art. She was the best artist in the land, people came from all over to see her paintings and drawings, that was one of the main reason she was so wealthy. "Penny for you thoughts." Nathanael the butler crashed her train of thoughts.
"Sorry I was just thinking about my art, please sit down." Eden took to a while to study his facial expression before speaking up. "You miss someone."
"What?!" he blushed but it quickly subsided and was replaced by grief and pain.
"Who was she?" Eden overflowed with compassion, he was her favorite worker, he was kind and he never complained about anything, he just did his job with a smile but even the most radiant smiles hide the greatest of pains.
"A witch apparently but....... she didn't deserve to die like that. It was Claire Walcott, she waiting for me and that got her killed." the tears silently rushed down his face as he wallowed in guilt, an emotion that was currently wreaking havoc on The Countess' conscience.
"Oh you poor thing." Eden embraced him hoping it would ease her conscience but it did nothing. "I think you should go out tonight for the festival and see the full moon."
"Under a full moon is the last place I should be right now." he said but it sounded more like a warning to Eden.
" I insist Nathanael, I will even accompany you tonight just go home and start getting ready, it's almost sun down." she pushed and he reluctantly obeyed and left the guilt ridden Eden.
Bastian had already snuck out the house without his wife's knowledge and started to prepare spells of all sorts to try and nullify the wards protecting the royals castle. He was in the middle of the woods, surrounded in a large circle of salt, a good distance away from the kingdom.
On All Hallows Eve, the veil between dimensions are extremely thin so out of this world creatures could cross if they tried hard enough. The warlocks had planned to help something cross over in exchange for it's help with destroying the wards but one witch couldn't do it alone without the full moon or celestial event so Sebastian offered to use himself as a gateway for the demon to cross while Dante helped it cross.
Dante laid in his bed naked and covered in olive oil trying to use arousal as spark to ignite his magic, he let his thoughts run wild with fantasies till he felt his power release causing the wind to pick up. "One, two, three and four. Raise a demon to our door. Call the Pig, the Wolf, the Ram. Come to the circle, any who can. Make him walk on floor to roof. Drink to him with horn and hoof. One, two, three and four. The Devil is here. Now protection no more."
Bastian's eyes rolled over as his body convulsed. The salt was set ablaze creating a fiery circle around him as mist proceeded from out of his mouth. The mist then came together to form a red headed woman, she looked around a bit before realising that she crossed over from where ever she was at and dashed for the woods but the fiery salt kept her in. "You can't get out." Bastian informed while trying to regain posture.
" A friend and I brought you through the veil, we would like for you to repay us." The woman nodded in agreement. "There's a castle with wards that prevent us from doing magic, do you think you can revoke the power in them?" The woman nodded again and gestured towards the flaming circle prompting Bastian to quench the flames and allow her to disappear into the woods with mist trailing behind her.
