Opposites Attract (Student/Teacher Romance-Arranged Marriage)

A/N--Ok, I know it's not Christmas yet, but I'm gonna write this chapter early since I know I'll be busy tomorrow opening presents and eating and playing with the ipad2 I know I'm getting >.<  So ENJOY!! Not uploading tomorrow, but I will the day after Christmas.

"Scar." I heard Jeff whisper.  "Scar." He repeated, this time shaking me.  I was in a deep sleep having a nice dream. 

"Whaaaat?" I whined.

Jeff chuckled. "Wake up.  I have something for you."

"What time is it?" I yawned.

"A minute to midnight, which means it's almost Christmas."

"Can't this wait until later...you know when I'm awake."

"No."  Jeff answered and turned on the light, blinding me.  I blinked away the colorful spots I seeing.  Jeff climbed on top of me and gave me a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too, Jeff."

He smiled. "And you know I want to marry you even if it is an arranged marriage?"

"Yeah" I answered in a sleepy voice.

"Scar, I'll love you til the end of time.  I'll take care of you, respect you, and treat you like a princess.  I look forward to our future together and hope one day to have children with you.  Even though we haven't known eachother long, I'm completely in love with you.  I've been in love with you since the day we met in the park.  I want to spend the rest of my life with you.  So, Scarlette Maria William, will you  wear this..."  He pulled out a jewelry box, opened it and revealed a gold diamond ring. "...and say you'll marry me?"

Tears started pouring from my eyes...happy tears of course. "Yes." I whispered, not able to find my full voice.  "A million time yes." 

Jeff kissed me again and then put the ring on my finger. "Good, because you don't really have a choice." He joked.

"Kiss me again, you jerk."

"Gladly."  He kissed me again with more passion and more lust.  This is absolutely a Christmas to remember.

Jeff let me go back to sleep for a couple more hours, seeing as the night before, Jeff's parents came over and stayed until 10:30...meaning that I went to sleep at 11 and had less than an hour of sleep before he proposed.  Except, it took me a while to fall asleep since I was  so happy.  But I eventually fell asleep again, only to be woken up by Jeff at 8 in the morning.  Jeff jumped on top of me, like a little child.  "Wake up. Wake up! Wake up! wake up!!!!  It's time to open presents!"

I raised an eyebrow at him.

"What? Presents! How could you not be excited for presents?"

"Ughh...all right all right. I'm up."

"Yay!!"  He literally dragged me out of bed and downstairs to the living room where the Christmas tree was.  It had been there since before I moved in...it looked like his parents hired someone to decorate it.  Jeff sat down on the floor and motion for me to sit next to him.  I did and he wrapped both arms around my waist and held me close. "That ring looks good on you." He complimented.

"It does." I agreed.

"Hand me a present" He instructed, eagerly.  I did and he unwrapped it.  It was a Rolex watch from his father.  He opened present after present, all of which were very expensive gifts from his relatives.  "Here's a few for you."  He said handing me a bunch of presents.

"Couldn't believe it.  No one ever cared enough to buy me something for Christmas...except Jeff.

"Yeah. You're part of this family now."

I smiled and started unwrapping each gift.  His mother got me a gold necklace with emeralds in it, his father got me a matching bracelet, his aunt got me a gift card to Forever 21, his uncle got me emerald earrings, and his cousin got me a black sweater.  Jeff must've told his cousin and Aunt what I like to wear.

"Do you like your gifts?"

"I love them.  I feel bad that I didn't get them anything...  I feel really bad about not getting you anything." I added

"It's fine Scar.  You gave me the best gift of all..saying you love me."
