Loud music was booming from a ginormous beach house.  People we everywhere. Some we making out on the beach, other were gathered around a campfire drinking and acting drunk, and even more people were inside the house dancing and drinking.  There was a DJ set up and laser lights beaming all over the place.  The place looked like a club you see in movies.

"JEFF!" A man's voice called out. I turned towards the voice and saw a man with shaggy dirty blonde hair that fell over his eyes.

"LUKE!"  'Luke' finally got through the crowd and he and Jeff did that chest bump thing...I don't get why guys do that.

"You made it."

"Wouldn't miss one of your parties for anything in the world."

"Hell Yeah!  So you finally gonna get laid tonight? Or are you gonna be a party pooper like always?  There's a ton of fine looking girls here. Your pick.  Hey, what about this one?"" Luke asked pointing to me.

I stood there awkwardly feeling out of place. "This is my girl." Jeff said, putting my arm around me. "Luke this is Scarlette, Scarlette this is Luke."

"HEY GUYS!! JEFF FINALLY GOT HIMSELF A GIRLFRIEND!" Luke shouted to everyone.

Everyone cheered and Jeff's face turned red.  I had to laugh at that, which earned me a glare.  "Alright, alright.  It's not that funny."

"SO how'd you snag this babe, Jeff?"

"This 'babe' is my fiancee.  And we met through our parents." Jeff answered.

"You're getting married?  HEY EVERYONE!! JEFF's GETTING MARRIED!!"   Once again, everyone cheered and Jeff's face got even redder.  "Hey man, congrats!!  Why don't you have a drink or two to celebrate?"

"No can do, Luke.  I'm driving tonight."

"One drink won't hurt Bro!"

"Luke, you know that's not true. One of you're drinks could kill someone."

"Live a little would ya?"

"Luke, I'm not here to drink. Neither is my girl."

"But it's a Christmas party!" Luke whine.

"Sorry man.  I'm staying sober tonight.  And if you try to give my girl anything I'll have your ass arrested."

"I think she can decide for herself."

"She's 16."

Luke's face dropped. "You're marrying a 16 year old girl?"  He said in disbelief.

"Yes, but I'm also marrying the love of my life.  So no funny stuff tonight, Luke!" He warned.

Luke raised his hands in defeat ."I won't even give her water."

"Good. Hey where the Pres? I haven't seen him in a while."

"Oh he couldn't make it...he has a job interview tomorrow morning and he wants to make a good impression...loser.  Who would've thoughtLeo, the all time president of this awesome fraternity, would turn into a serious guy? I guess we all have to change sometime..I mean you did right?  BUT, tonight is not my turn to change so I'm gonna PARTAAYYYYYY" He screamed and everyone cheered again.  "Listen man, I'm gonna go find me a girl. You two have fun! And use protection!!" He added while walking through the crowd again.

"This party's crazy." I stated.

"I know...isn't it fun?  Come on. Let's dance." He dragged me onto the dance-floor.

"Jeff I don't dance." I admitted, standing there awkwardly.

"It's easy Scar. Here."  He wrapped my arms around my neck and we started moving together.  "See. Easy."

I rolled my eyes, but I had to smile. It was so much fun.

"So, I have a surprise for you." Jeff stated, seductively.

"Really? What is it?"

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise would it.  You'll just have to wait until Chritmas to find out."

"Christmas?  I almost forgot Christmas in in 2 days" I said in realization.

"How could you forget something like Christmas?"

I gave him a look, and he realized why.

"Right...Bad parents equal no Christmas.  Got it.  But this Christmas is gonna be one to remember.  I promise."
