We flew first class to Massachusetts. When we got there, it was dark and late. I didnt sleep a wink on the plane. Yet I was still wide awake. I guess I was just too excited about finally getting there. But when finally got to the house, it was even better than I remembered. The house had the same kind of exterior as our old house, but everything inside was a lighter color. The walls were all white, the floor was wood, and it looked more modern. It was spacious and well lit. The house was filled with boxes of stuff and new furniture scattered around in random places.
Jeff came and engulfed me in a bug bear hug. "Don't you just love it?"
"Yeah ,but to be honest, I like our old home better." I admitted.
"I do too. It had a more unique touch to it."
"Exactly."
"A few renovations and it'll be perfect, just like you."
"I'm not perfect, Jeff.
"You are to me. Now, which room is going to be ours?"
"Let's go find out."
We ran upstairs and looked in every room. We chose the biggest, of course. It as on the third floor at the end of the hallway. There was one big walk in closet, a bathroom, and a balcony looking over the backyard. Strange...this is the only room with all the furniture set up. I turned to Jeff, giving him a suspicious look. "you already had our room picked out. Didn't you?"
He shrugged. "Maybe" he answered sheepishly.
"Well I love it. Except for the fact I have to share a closet with you..." I trailed off.
"At least now I won't hide your clothes anymore. Right?" Jeff reminded me. He always played tricks on me. He would steal some of my clothes and hide it in his closet, them when I went to find them, I tore up my entire closet. Mean, but funny.
"You better not."
"haha don't worry. I'll only do that in the California house."
"Good.". I yawned. "I think I'll go to sleep. It's been a long day"
"Sleep? Already? I was kinda hoping..." he trailed off, smirking, and glancing at me and then to the bed. I pretended to fall asleep in his arms, but he knew I was faking. "Scaaarrr" he whined. "Please?"
"But I'm tired, Jeff. And I'm still sore from last time."
"But that was an entire day ago." he said giving me the puppy dog eyes
"We have all the time in the to do that. Please? I'm tired." I said giving him the puppy dog eyes as well.
He sighed. "Fine." he gave in. "I hate when you use my puppy dog face against me." he mumbled, making me laugh. He gave me a kiss goodnight. "I'm gonna take a shower."
"alright" I pulled away from him and climbed into bed and started to drift off to sleep.
"Feel free to join me." he added hopefully.
"Mhm." I mumbled. Ugh! Men and their 'needs'. I drifted off to sleep and got the best nights of sleep ever.
I woke up the next morning because I felt someone staring at me. I opened one eye and saw Jeff laying on his side, watching me.
"May I help you?" I asked sarcastically. I pulled a pillow over my head, because the sun was blinding me.
"Scar, it's almost noon. Time to get up." he stated softly, while trying to pull the pillow away from me. He did and I hid under the covers.
"Nooooo" I whined, sleepily.
"Yeessss" he mimicked me, pulling the blankets off of me.
I stared at him blankly while he just smirked and battered his eyelashes at me."I don't like you anymore."
