My palms were sweaty. I sit at the end of the bus, alone. Not only did everyone avoid me, they hate me. It was pretty obvious that they want no contact between us. They made it clear throughout the week. Pushing me, 'accidentally' slide tackling my ankles.

The team wants me to be weak. But, I will prove them wrong. Every night the past week, I treated my ankle with ice, and took ice baths. I pushed myself harder than I have ever done before.

The team rushes out of the bus door. I get up from my seat and follow. It was game time. As I walked by, students greeted me and I only smiled back. But, I was the only one who got that greeting. To the boys, they glare deathly at them.

I see San Fran High School, my real teammates. Parker makes eye contact with me and smiles. My cheeks turn red and my eyes go wide. No, no, no. I turn around and catch up with my temporary team.

The referee blows his whistle, signaling the game to start. I look at the team in front of me, San Fran was not going to win. The two boys sitting in front of me earlier were talking about one thing and one thing only. The plan. The plan was to cheat. Do what they always do. This High School plays dirty, they make sure to 'accidentally' trip people, shove them, or just aim for their ankles. To make them weak.

San Fran was starting off with the ball. Since, Ryan didn't want me to call it, he did. When I said Tails, he said Heads. The referee went with Heads. When the referee flipped the coin, it was Tails. So, San Fran start with the ball.

Parker takes off with the ball, keeping his head straight in front of him. My team follows him, and Ryan was right on his tail. My stomach was filled with butterflies, I know Ryan is going to do something to Parker.

Parker looks down for a split second and sees the shadow behind him. Worry fills his face before passing to Tristan. Tristan advances forward and runs away. But, as Tristan runs away, Ryan takes the time to run full speed at Parker and hip check him. I see the look in Parker's face and gasp. However, I couldn't help him. Lord, please let him be okay.

Charlotte, get your head in the game! I roll my eyes and chase after Tristan. A defender tried to block me off from getting to Tristian, but he failed tremendously. I laugh when he sees that I was right next to him.

Tristan eyes me from the corner of his eye. He scoffs before hitting the ball behind him and doing a rainbow. His feet flick the ball up in the air and the ball flies over his head. I lean left and flick the ball back. The ball was almost going to hit the ground.

I turn towards my body towards the other goal and speed off. I see someone coming closer and closer to me on my right. My hand comes out and I hold out. Parker presses against my arm as he tries to take the ball away from me. How did I know it was Parker? I just know.

Parker moves right in front of me and I curse. He was almost twice as large as me so I couldn't go anywhere. I hit the ball in between his legs and Parker turns back confused. I take this time to retrieve the ball and start to advance forward again.

I pass the ball to Daniel and he runs towards the goal. I see him silently curse as he gets blocked by a defender. He moves backward, but only for the defender to come behind him. The defender reaches out between Daniel's leg, trying to get the ball.

Daniel panics and sends the ball flying to me. I push off the ground and bump it with my chest.  The ball hits the ground and I plant my left leg in the direction of the goal and I swing my leg. I close my eyes as I see the goalie save the ball. This is a major disappointment. I have let my team go. Why didn't I aim somewhere else? It probably could've make it.

We start off with the ball. I start to run with it before passing it to Christopher. We all follow where the ball goes. Bryson steals the ball away from Christopher and takes off. Bryson passes it to Liam, and he dribbles the ball for a while. Liam passes it to Parker and Parker takes the shot. I sigh as the ball hits the back of the net.

I hear the referee blow his whistle. The game was over. I was really disappointed in myself. This was the worst games I have ever played. I use to get at least three goals per game.

I do not think this counts as a lost, does it? Yeah, it doesn't count. I am still undefeated. I walk up to Parker and smile. "Nice job." I congratulate.

"I know!" Parker says as he mocks a girl flipping her hair off her shoulder.

"Hey!" I say.

Parker flashes his Award Winning Smile, before speaking again, "I guess you did alright..."

I playfully slap his arm and we walk over to the group of guys. "You guys want to get pizza? It's all on me!" Bryson yells. I laugh as my teammates roar in excitement.

"But, really, Charlotte. Don't be disappointed in yourself, you did the best you could. I mean, how well could you really do if you were stuck on a team of assholes?" Parker jokes.

I laugh at his joke. It was cheesy, but... Oh Chesse and Crackers! I was falling way to hard. If these... lovey dovey feelings spiral up, this could cost us the Championships! Snap out of it, Charlotte. He doesn't want you the same way you do.

Parker slings a arm over my shoulder. I giggle before wrapping my arm around his waist. Parker and I waddle to the car and start to jam out to music.

You want to hear the best part? We rapped Rap God together. But this time, Parker stared at me in awe as I rapped the fasted part. Also, Parker was trying to rap. I have to say, that was the funniest thing I have ever seen!
