cha eunwoo's POV
"eunwoo"
a voice called out.
i glance at several directions
until a figure appeared in front of me.
"what do you want?"
i question her.
"i need to tell you something."
she smirks.
i raise my brow while she
stifles a giggle which i
found quite irritating.
"i overheard that moon
bin likes hyunhee."
she says with a smirk.
"and why would i believe you?"
i ask.
"here's proof."
she says, shoving her
phone towards me.
i felt my heartbeat pound
rapidly at a sudden moment.
could she possibly be right?
unsteadily, i took her phone
and witnessed the boys in
the school's garden.
i gaze at her in doubt.
please, i hope you don't.
"i'm in an unrequited love with..."
"hyunhee."
bin says.
what was i suppose to do?
ahn hyunhee's POV
the day processed so quick,
the night had approached.
darkness surrounded us,
the sky was twirled in a
whirlpool of black and
twinkling stars.
i watched from afar,
hoping i'd be lucky
enough to encounter
a falling star.
i reminisced the moment
that eunwoo had asked me
to become his girlfriend.
"there may be a lot of stars in the sky, but you're the only star in my life"
his words and voice replayed
in my mind over and over.
"hyunhee."
i recognized that voice,
enough that i made a frown.
he called me
by my name,
it hurt.
i didn't speak.
i sat on the sand,
admiring the stars.
he took the chance to
sit beside me and looked
to where my gaze was at.
"remember what i said?"
he asks.
i just nod in response.
"there may be a lot of stars in the sky but you're the only star in my life"
he says.
i felt my heart flutter and a
smile crept up onto my face.
"look at the stars up there."
i say, pointing towards that direction.
"they may be near each other
but they're physically apart.
it represents us right now,
because even if you say i'm
the only star in your life,
you have been avoiding me.
now we're being distanced,
and i don't know what to feel."
i say in direct,
looking down in disappointment.
he looks towards me
in shock, unable to reply.
i stood up from my seat,
ready to leave with tears in my eyes.
i stand up and leave him there
while tears flowed down.
what happened to us?
