Max's Pov
One day before the double date I kinda nervous but at the same time I'm ready to get it over with just because I don't want to be near Mia (aka my ex girlfriend). I just really don't want Mia to ruin this no matter how hard she tries and no matter how bad it's going to get.
Shelby's Pov
When I woke up for the day my phone was going off like crazy I turned on my side to grab my phone and see what's going on but before I could grab it Ross and Max come barging through the door and take my phone. "What the heck! Give me my phone!" "No we can't let you see what's going on!" Said Ross "Why? And why can't I know what's going!?" while I was reaching for my laptop trying to be sly Max took it. "Maxxxx" "No you can't see what's going on because it's about something bad which will only want you to do research on it and tweet a bunch!" Said Max "Ross pleaseeee" "No I can't Max look away when she pouts she always tends to get her way!"
When I go over to them trying to make them look at me I was able to get my phone from Ross. When I got my phone from Ross I went into my bathroom and locked the door so they couldn't get in. When I got on twitter I couldn't believe it. Everybody was saying they were sorry and saying they would pray for me I was so confused. I continued to look through twitter when I got a phone call. When I answered at first I was confused, shocked, sad. "Hi is this Shelby Grace?" "Uh yeah" "I am very sorry about your loss." "M.. My loss?" "Honey I'm so sorry I thought you would've know by now but I'm sorry to inform you, your father died of a gunshot." "thank you for telling me." "your welcome, try to have a nice day." She then hung up, once I put my phone down I unlocked the door and flung it open I then sat back down and started screaming and crying.
Is this what Ross didn't want me to see!? Ross and Max then came running in. When they both sat down on both sides of me I just continued to cry. After crying for awhile I whispered something so they both could here me. "Is this what you didn't want me to know!?!?" "Yes" Ross said slightly disappointed in himself.
