The Ride Home (ON HOLD)

Chapter 9

Max's Pov

We got back from Shelby's mom's. Shelby decided she's going to live with us so her mom is going to send her stuff so she can have it. But she said she's not going to send her bed just in case she visits which I think is nice. If you think of it in a one way and not the other.

But once we got unpacked and everything I called Mia. And asked her if she still wanted to do the double date. She said yeah but as long as she got to plan it. I agreed to let her plan it because if I planned it, it would just be a mess. She said she would have it planned by next week so she will text me when she has it set up.

Ross's Pov

When we got home that night I went straight to my room to unpack. When I was done unpacking I went into the hallway across from max and Shelby's room. I knocked on both of their doors they both yelled what. "DO YOU GUYS WANT PIZZA OR ITALIAN??" "ROSS THOSE ARE THE SAME THING" Max said "ARE YOU GOING TO ANSWER MY QUESTION OR WHAT!?" "I'm fine with pizza" Shelby said "me too" said max

When I got done ordering the pizza I went to my room to get my laptop. I then went out to the living room. I sat down on the couch and looked up house's because Max and I wanted to get a house and since Shelby's living with us now I think it's perfect timing.

Shelby's Pov

When the pizza got here Ross texted me and said to get max. So I went into max's room and he was passed out on his bed. So I walked over to him I bent down next to his bed. I kissed him and he automatically smiled. "Pizza's here silly" I said giggling

When we walked down stairs Ross just started at us like we just killed KP or something. "What's wrong Ross?" Max asked "I...um I kinda kissed the pizza girl." My mouth and Max's mouth just dropped. "WHAT!!?!?" I said a little excited but also a little scared

"I'm sorry she was just beautiful and I couldn't help it but she did give me her number!!" Ross said "WOW, Sorry I just couldn't help but just WOW. Go Ross" Max said

After we ate the pizza Ross went to bed but Max and I stayed up and watched Wreck it Ralph it's my favorite movie. Max fell asleep half way threw the movies so I tried to get out of his grip and go to the kitchen. When I got in the kitchen I grabbed the spray bottle we use for the plants and I made sure Max was still asleep and I sprayed him in the face.

He instantly woke up and started chasing me. He kept chasing me until I finally gave up and fell on the floor. Max walked up to me and bent down beside me. I thought he was going to kiss me but instead he just started to tickle me.

"STOP! STOP!" I said laughing while also in pain from the tickling. Max finally stopped but after he did he said "I love your laugh" he kissed me and then picked me up bridal style took me to his room and gave me one of his shirts and laid down on his bed then patted the spot next to him.

I walked over to him and laid down. I turned my head to face Max and he faced me. We kissed and cuddled and I fell asleep in his arms. I felt safe and warm.

Max's Pov

When I woke up the next morning Shelby was no longer in my arms. I got up and checked her room and the bathroom then I went into the kitchen and there she was making pancakes and bacon. "Hey" "Hi" "whatcha doin?" "Just making breakfast." "Yay!" "I made pancakes bacon and homemade orange juice." "I love your orange juice!" "well sit down and be patient."

When she got done making the food and just as she was about to sit it down Ross came running down the stairs. "YOU MADE FOOOOOOOD!!" "yeah" Shelby and I just laughed as Ross came to the table.

When we got done eating I went upstairs to get ready to go to Sky Media because I had to film a video with Adam and Red (Michael). I grabbed my Love Love Paradise shirt and some jeans. When I was done I went down stairs and grabbed my keys. "GUYS I'M LEAVING!" "WAIT!" Shelby yelled A couple minutes after Shelby yelled wait she came down stairs in some ripped white jeans and a tank top with some converse on. "I'm going with you." "Okay then let's go, BYE ROSS!"

Shelby's Pov

When we got to the offices I ran up the stairs because walking is stupid. When I got up to the door I knocked on it and waited for someone to open it since Max didn't have keys anymore. After about 5 minutes of waiting and knocking on the door Barney (John) finally opened the door.

"About time!" Max said "what was everybody doing?" "We were all in one corner of the office so none of us heard you guys so Max texted me." "OH, Good thinking Max" "yeah"

When we walked in the office it looked really different from the last time I was here. I walked up to Em and gave her a big bear hug. "It's been sooo long!" "yeah too long" said Em

After Max and Adam recorded the video we all went out to lunch. Max, Barney, Adam and I went to Burger King. And everybody else went to the classic sushi place.

After Lunch we went back to the offices I ended up walking home because Max's car broke down and I didn't want to drive anybody else because they would just ask how I am. 

While I was walking home it started pouring rain so I went into the closest gas station and called Ross and asked him to pick me up at the gas station. 

When Ross got to the gas station I sprinted to the car like my life depended on it. Max wasn't with me so it was just me. "Shelby where's Max?" "I don't know he didn't walk with me" "Can you call him and ask where he is" "Yeah" 

When I called Max he didn't pick up till the second ring. "hello?" "Max where are you?" "I'm at Adam's why?"  "Ross was worried about you, because he picked me up at the gas station cause while I was walking it started pouring rain." "Okay I'll see you at home, I won't be there till around 6" "Okay byeee" "BYE MAX" said Ross 

Max' Pov

When I got back home from Adam's I walked in and straight to my room when I got in there Shelby was asleep on my bed. I changed into my pajamas and went back downstairs and talked to Ross.

When I went back upstairs and into my room Shelby was still asleep. I laid down beside her and fell asleep.
