Chapter 14

Shelby's pov

As we started walking It was quiet, kinda awkward if I do say so. I wanted to say something I just didn't know what to say.

"Hey Mia, can I ask you a question?" "Sure, as long as it is not inappropriate!" she says giggling "Okay, anyways I was wondering how you and Max met?" "Oh!, Well we actually met in school you know it was 7th grade. We got choose to be partners so he had to come over to my house to work on the project with me because he lived in the country then. So I thought it would just be easier to go to my house. That is pretty much how we met and got to know each other."

"Interesting" "I guess," she said while chuckling

After some chit chatting and walking/hiking, we started to head back to the campground to meet up with everyone else. I actually learned a lot about Mia. And she said she would introduce me to her boyfriend she said his name is Kaine. I told her how he looked really familiar and how I think I know him, she said: "maybe he will know you then you might remember him or something."

Max's Pov

When I finished setting up the tent Mia and Shelby were back and heading over to me. "Hey, guys" "Hey," they said in sync which freaked me out a bit. "So how was the walk?" "The walk was great got to stretch my legs from the drive over here. And I learned a lot about Shelby!" Mia said

"That good, how about you Shelby?" "It was okay, not too bad same as Mia I got to learn a lot about her. So it was fun and interesting." "Well that's good I'm going to go help Kaine I think it is? But anyways have fun guys!"

"Hey Max, by the way, it is Kaine! So you were right!" Mia yelled "Thanks"
