The streams of water dribbling on my cheeks
Are so familiar with the contact of my skin
Turning me numb,
making it hard for me to acknowledge its presence
The feel of sharp like bones nipping on my lips
Preventing the gasps of air to escape
As if my lungs are squeezed too tight
by my own hands
Not wanting life to remain hidden in its cage
Releasing it to the cruel world known as life.
