she lives everyday lying to herself and those around her
she lives behind a smiling mask
Where a dark frown lays
Unfortunate and stiff
Never did that frown dare to turn upside down
It was a silent and moist frown
Moist because of the tears
Silent because of the fear.
One day the mask broke,
It cracked from the centre of the mask
Revealing her frown for the world to see
She tried to cover it up with a fake smile
But her frown was so stiff
Her face broke,
It cracked from the tip of her nose
Reaching her white chest and down below
the cracks flourished,
till she lay there in pieces.
