Chapter 13: Christmas

 December 24, Christmas Morning (Earth)

*yawn*

       “Good morning sleepy-head,” I heard Fredric’s voice.

     I got up soon and saw him at the door waiting.

     “What do you want Fred?” I asked, rubbing my eyes.

     “Um…you do know what day is today right?”

     “Ugh… Sunday?” I said going back to bed.・・・ “Wait! How in the world did you get into my room?” I got out of my covers and through a pillow at him. Instead of hitting him, it aimed at Sky and got him right in the head. 

     “Watch where your aiming, Nao,” I heard Sky I dug under my soft blanket. 

     “Oi! Nao! WAKE! UP!” Kanna voices came in. I ignored it.

     “What’s going on?” I head Kei coming. 

     Oh, my gosh! Why is everyone coming to my room! It’s so cold, can’t you see I wanna sleep?! 

     “Kei, help us get Nao out of her bed,” said Kanna. 

     “Fredric, let’s go get it ready,” Sky said.

     “Come on, Nao. Time. To. Get. Up” he said, suddenly lifting me like a princess.

     “LET! ME! DOWN!” I screamed. I was still in my pajamas and was totally, embarrassed.

     “Be quiet,” he genteelly placed me down.

     “Now, back to…” before I could continue, Kei grabbed my wrist and dragged me to my restroom, and locked me up.

     “Kei! this isn’t funny. Kei!” I banged the door hard. He was pushing the door with force.

     “Change into the dress that is placed there and NO I didn’t go inside the restroom,” said Kei.

     I saw the dress there. It was a white, long dress. More like a super long robe. Beside it, I saw a short jeans pants with a long, loose red shirt. I did what Kei said, more like ordered me to do.

 *knock*

     “I’m done!” 

     “Okay,” he replied and the door swung opened but no none was there.

     I left my room, knowing that my violin was gone. I went to the dining table following the cent of meat. Yes, I love meat! When I arrived, I saw confetti pop and heard my friends saying,

“CONGRATULATION AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!” 

     I was surprised and so happy to be alive! I felt tears coming down from my eyes.

    “Hey! Why are you crying?” I heard Fredric panic a bit.

     “Idiot, it’s called tears of joy,” I went over to Kanna and hugged her tight! “Thanks, oh and I have something for you too! Wait for a moment! I’ll be right back,” I dashed to my room getting a huge bag filled with surprises. I bought them yesterday in Angon (^o^) I hope they’ll like it!

     “Nao! What’s taking you so long?” I heard Kei’s voice coming in. He saw me dropping the gifts...

     “Um… Merry Christmas?” I said handing him the nearest gift I got. But that was for Sky.

     “What happened?” I heard Sky’s voice!

     “Here, catch!” shouted Kei handing the gift I gave him.

     “Is this for me? Thanks Nao!” His gentle, clam blue eyes  were filled with joy and happiness.

     “Sorry, this got into a mess,” I apologized. The presents I have spent all of last night was in a mess.

     “Here, this is for Fredric, Kanna and this one is mine, right?” Kei said handing all of the presents to them.

     How did he know who’s belongs to who? I didn’t write the names and they’re all in different colors. Anyway for the rest of the day, we went to Sofitel, got unsettled. It was warm inside our rooms, there was a hot spring downstairs, a freezing pool, and a game center! This is one awesome life! 

     “Hey Kanna! Do you wanna go to the hot spring?” I asked her.

     “Sure!” and we both went there.

     I saw one person I did not want to see for the rest of my winter break, Emily.
