Chapter 18: Bye

It was time for the three boys to go back. We spent our last few minutes together but they didn't seem said at all. Emily invited Fredric for a while, not knowing that it was his last day, Sky and Kanna were going out, shopping for some souvenirs. It was just Kei and me left. *sigh*

"So what are you going to do once you get back?" I walked towards Kei who was lifting his suitcase to the trunk.

"I'll probably go to my apartment and call my parents," He said it calmly as Kitsune would.

"Oh," I closed the trunk for him.

"Don't worry, well meet again very soon." He smiled and patted my head. 

"You sure?" I asked.

"Of course. By the time we meet again, I bet you'll be shocked." 

We started walking around, "What makes you think that?"

"You'll see Neko."

"I'm am not NEKO!"

"Oh, I forgot. Here," Kei grabbed his bag and pulled out a cat ear hairband. 

"Where did you get that?" I asked backing away, "More likely why do you have that?"

"It was a request from my parents," He shot back at me.

"Come on, Kei. You know that I wouldn't really want to wear that." 

"Okay. I won't force you..."

Yeah! Good thing he's a kind person.

"BUT if you loose to me in speed (card playing game and it is NOT gambling), you'll have to wear that."

Out of my habit, my body got all fired up, "Challenge accepted!" I covered my mouth with my hands. What did I just do!

"Great, I have a pack of cards. Let's do it by the starbucks right there!" He pointed the seat.

     We sat on out chairs and Kei started separating the cards. Red and Black. I chose Red. 

Rule:

Separate the deck to Red and Black.

Shuffle your opponent's deck.

Give it back to then once your done.

Place four cards in front of you.

No Jokers.

     I quickly got comfortable on my seat and placed thee rest of the cards on my left hand. 

"Your had is as small as ever. Here." He got my right hand and measured it to his. Surprisingly his was way bigger than mine, "And you sure can play the violin well with those hands."

"Just you wait Kei! I'll make you take back those words!" I pointed at him.

"It's rude to point at people you know."

"Ready!"

"Are you listening?"

"Go!"

     My eyes scanned through my cards but I had nothing to put.

Playing Rules:

When your opponent is ready, say Go to begin your game.

Each player will place one card in the middle. 

They can only use the four cards to continue.

You can only place the card that goes beside the number.

The sign doesn't matter.

Ex: 9 and A

You can put 10 or 9 on the nine and King or 2 on the Ace.
