Chapter 15: New Rival

December 28, After Lunch (earth)

     Today was the last day we were going to stay in Sofitel. We had our things ready to leave but we’ve decided to have one last dip in the indoor pool before we go. Yes, Sofitel had an indoor pool at kept us warm and felt like summer. Anyways the past three days was amazing except for that part that I felt someone watching us from our back the whole time. I didn’t even bother to guess. It’s Emily. 

     “Here I go!” shouted Kanna as she was going to jumping in.

*splash* 

     Sky splashed some water as Kanna was about to get up, “Haha! I got you!”

     “Why you!” she said splashing him back. It looked like there was a war starting, a fun war.

     I was looking at them in the corner staring at them thinking about some things until Fredric pushed me to the pool.

*splash*

     “Haha!! I got you Nao!! You should have seen your face,” the chocolate haired friend said. Then from behind, Sky pushed Fredric to the pool making him on top of him.

*crash* *splash*

     “Haha! You should have seen YOUR face, Fredric,” said Kanna laughing with Sky.

     “Why you!” Fredric pushed me aside, swimming towards them to get revenge.

     I was completely ignored. (-_-) I was just floating there minding my own business.

     “Yaho, hime! Gennki?(how are you?)” Lio was there in boy form.

     “Why are you in boy form,” I lazily asked.

     “If I’m in a girl form, I’ll stand out too much,” he said, “anyways, what are you doing?”

     “Um… trying to ignore the person who is behind you,” I saw him turn around, seeing Emily with a strange aura.

     “Hu! (got noticed) Ug… Hey Nao, is he your boyfriend?” asked Ms. Popular. Everyone froze for a moment. Even Kanna, Sky and Fredric.

     I was speechless. Suddenly, I heard two simultaneous voice calling out, “Hey are you Lio, Kanna, and Fredric?” It was the twins.

     “Hey, what are you guys doing here?” I heard Gabby’s voice from the back. Her brother was beside her.

     “Yaho~ Nao! What ya doing?” I saw Minami & Maegan.

     “There you are, Lio. We were finding for you!” said Harry. He is in the water guild. I gave a death glare to Lio and Lio replied with smile.

     “Um… Emily, come and join me for a moment,” I called out to her. We both went out of the pool and got our towels. 

     While going out, I heard a voice saying “Now, we only need to wait for Yukino!” 

     “Do you know who’s Yukino?” asked Emily who was clueless about this situation. 

     “Sadly, no,” I replied while pushing her to the changing room.

     Emily turned around with a pokerface, staring at me, “You don’t know who Yukino is? OH MY GOSH!! She is the guild master of light! The nine people who gathered there are the BETA PLAYERS of MY WORLD ANGON!!!!!! KYAAAA~! This must be a dream! We must look and see what they are planning! I must see Yukino!"

     There goes Emily with her game-addiction. Out of curiosity, why does is Emily so eager to meet Yukino? Do I have a fan?! I took a deal breath, “Hey Emily, why do you want to see Yukino so badly?”

     “Hmm…. Good question…," (Nao having a pokerface thinking ‘what?') Emily smiled, looked at me with a serious face, “because she is my rival! They said something about beating your own guild master will be able to make you one and will be able to join the Eternal Olympic! I shall be versing Fredric-sama! Kyaaaa!"

     Fredric-sama? Well, at least Fredric has a fan… Who cares! I looked at her calmly and knew that she has some kind of plan on her mind. “Emily? Are you planning something?”

     “Hm? What makes you think that?””

     “Just wondering.”

     “I’m planning to wipe out Yukino.”

I knew I found out my rival for the rest of the year.

     “Good luck with that!” I smiled and walked to the shower room.

     “You’ll see! If you find any information about her, please tell me and I’ll buy you some rich food!” she shouted out.

     “Sorry but I’m not into that game. It just sounds… boring.” I said. I left her behind. 

(after changing)

     I transformed while no body was looking, quickly jumped up and grabbed Lio’s hand.

     “You’re late” Lio spoke to me.

     “Sorry. (- -) I was busy with shtuff” he was pulling me higher and higher. I could see the whole hotel from here. Then I saw one of the two buttons glowing. It was a message.

Message: Emily.

     “A battle request?” Lio asked me.

     “Yup and she’s planning to wipe me out.” I wanted to battle her in Yukino’s form. A one simple, fun, exciting battle.

     “You sure about this? You haven’t trained in like a week or so. Plus Emily is level 13 while you’re level 7.” he explained.

     I looked at him, took him seriously and spoke. “Is that ALL U’VE GOT?” He held a evil grin, looked at me directly and released me. I was falling.

Anyways! Chapter 16 will be coming soon and my final exams too.... so it will take me a while to update some of the chapters. But Enjoy!!!!!!!!
