As Kei helped me put on my blindfold and grabbed my hand leading me.

“We’re entering the car” said Kei gently.

I didn’t noticed that there was a car waiting because I’m sure that I saw nothing on the road. I was sitting next to him. I could still feel his warm, gentle hand. The car suddenly stopped and it didn’t take that long. I know the place around here. I thought we must be a bit far from the mall. As I stepped out of the car, he pulled me to a door. I could feel the cold metal part of the door and the cool archon glided across my face. It was chilly inside.

“Sit down,” said the voice of Kei. I trusted him and sat down. He gently unfolded the blindfold. I

was in this amazing, huge place.

“Where am I?” I asked.

“Welcome to Kei’s recording studio,” said Sky. Kanna was beside Sky holding his hand tight.

She looked really amazed. Fredric was wondering around as if he hasn’t been here for a long

time.

“It’s been a long time since I last went here” said Fredric.

I was right!

“I clean it every once a month” said Kei

“So where do we start” I asked

“Nao, how good are you at singing?” said Kei

“Ah... Not that good. I’m usually stage frighten.” I said looking somewhere else.

“Hm. Go into that room” said Kei pointing his finger at a door. I stood up and went in. From the back I heard Kei’s orders.

“Kanna, don’t leave this place.”

“Why?” she asked

“Just” said the voice of Sky

“I understand” said Kanna.

“Go find Nao a perfect costume in room 6. Sky knows where it is”

I entered the room and I couldn't hear the rest of their conversation. I saw Fredric talk to Kei and

as soon as they finished talking, Fredric went outside and Kei came in the room.

“Nao, have you ever sang in front of a huge crowd?” he asked

“In a choir, at school” I said

“Can you sing a song for me right now?” he asked getting a chair.

“Um...” I said nervously.

“Ok. Fine. Wait here.” he said. He left the room and I saw him through the window. I checked the

time and it was 6:35. Kei grabbed something and came back in.

“Here” he said placing a headphone on my head.

“Just right” he said with a smile. I saw is gentle smile for the first time since he arrived. I would always see him reading a book or just looking at something. Suddenly, I couldn’t see anything.

“Kei!” I said

“Don’t worry. It’s just a blindfold. So you won’t get scared” he said, “What’s the theme?”

“Love Song...” I answered. I felt a light pull from my hand.

“Stay there.” he demanded. His gentle hand released and I heard a door open and close. Then from the headphones, I heard something strange.

“Hello?” said an electronic voice.

“Kei?” I asked

“Yup. Don’t worry. Right in front of you is a microphone and the only one who could hear you is me,” said Kei

“What do I do?” I asked. I felt really nervous. I couldn’t see and the only one who could hear me was Kei. My knees were trembling and my hands couldn’t move. I couldn’t just sing in front of Kei, I would rather sing to a whole audience.

“Are you ok?” he asked.

“Yes.” I gulped.

“So I’ll play a music that is easy. You’ll try to sing along with it,” he said. I took a deep breath.

I heard a Japanese song. It was 君といしょ (Kimi to Isho). I sang along with it.

Suddenly I the song stopped in the middle but I felt like continuing the song without the music. I went with what I remember. I used to sing this song alot with my friend. But I stopped soon because I forgot the rest of the lyrics. I was embarrassed. What did I just do? I told myself. I just sang the rest on my own with Kei listening.

“Good job. You could take the blindfold off now.” he said. I untied it and the light blurred my eyes.

“Here” Kei said handing me a drink. It was lemon tea with milk. I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say. Should I show off or say I was bad or just say nothing? My head was messed up.

“You sung good” said Sky and Kanna coming in.

“You guys heard it too?” I said. I’m super embarrassed. I found the closest seat and sat down.

“Don’t worry! I just pressed a button so everyone here could hear you sing” said Fredric coming in.

“FREDRIC!” I shouted at him.

“Ah! Your drink!” said Kei grabbing my hand. The tea was about to spill.

“Sorry. I got a bit overboard.” I said.

“It’s ok. Just be careful” he said.

“Say Nao!” said Kanna calling my attention.

“What?” I asked.

“He he. Look what I found!” she said holding a beautiful dress. It was a blue-green dress with a black ribbon on the waist.

“We found tons and tons of costumes there. Even for boys!” said Sky.

“Was your mother really that popular?” asked Fredric

“It’s a long story” Kei replied.

“I heard that your mother and father had to move and leave you behind and they send you plenty of money every month.” said Kanna

“Is that true?” I asked

“Yup but I’m very happy they left me” said Kei with a smile.

“Why?” Kanna asked

“Because if I went with them, I wouldn’t have met you guys” said Kei. He was blushing.

“Oh and Nao” said Fredric

“hm?” I asked

“YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR VOICE! YOU'RE GOING TO BE EMILY’S SERVANT FOR

A WEEK IF YOU KEEP IT LIKE THAT!!” said the boys screaming at my face.

“Relax!” I said handing Kei the earphones. As I went out to the door, I heard a voice.

“Nao! Not that way!”
