We Could Happen

CHAPTER FIVE

It was past 11 in the morning when they reached the Island, they checked into the hotel near the shore,beside their hotel is a bar...
After arranging his stuffs in the cabinet, he changed his clothes... He is now wearing his Blue swimming trunks and sprayed some sunblocks all over his arms,and neck but he couldn't reach his back, so he went out looking for Aireen,.. She was on the hammock when Jacob approach her...
Jacob: "Hey, can you please spray some sunblock on my back? I can't reach it".
Aireen was hesitant about it, but Jacob turned his back already waiting for her to spray it.
She Sprayed the sunblock on his back and rubbed it evenly, she could feel his muscles and his broad shoulders...
Jacob: "Thanks".
Aireen: " No worries".
Aireen's friends joined her in the hammock, they were staring at him while walking towards the shore...
Kearl: "Jusme...! Nakita mo ba yung Abs nya? namumutok!"
Rhea: " Its like a giant arrow pointing to his d*ck!"
Aireen: " hoy mag si tigil kayo dyan ha! pinagnanasaan nyo yung tao".
Kearl: "Uy uy uy... nag salita ang naka himas ng likod,... matigas ba gurl?" hahaha
Aireen: " uhm honestly oo".. And they all laughed...

Lunchtime! they all went to the restaurant not far from their hotel,Jacob order their foods,.. Calamari, Afretada, and grilled bangus...
After eating, he went to the cashier...
Jacob: "Pila ang amoang bill?" he asked while speaking vernacular
Cashier: "480 sir".
Aireen gave him 200 but refused to accept it. "Salamat" Aireen said.

After having their lunch, they all went back to their hotel... Jacob asked the "Bangkero" how much is the Island Hopping...
Bangkero: "Depende sir kung pila mo kabuok"( depende kung ilan kayo).
Jacob: "Lima ra mi"( Lima lang Kami)
Bangkero: "2,500 ra sir"
They both agreed with the price, Jacob came back to their hotel and told them "We are leaving tomorrow at 8AM After breakfast for our Island hopping" he said..
Aireen: "Magkano daw bayad?"
Jacob: "Okay na nabayaran ko na"
Aireen: "Hindi pwede yun, Ikaw na nga nag bayad ng Lunch kanina, sobra na yan".
Jacob: "Okay nga lang eh,Isa pa... date natin to kaya sagot ko na to".
Aireen: "Sige, ikaw bahala"..."Salamat"

The sun is out,the moon is up but the Island is so alive with lanterns,Live bands and a lot of tourists who are drinking liquors, eating their dinners near the shore...

Jacob,Aireen and her friends decided to go for a night stroll at the beach...and then they reach a bar with a live band, they ordered some Beers and Calamari..
Aireen noticed him for being quiet...
Aireen: "Okay ka lang ba?"
Jacob: "Yeah im fine".
Aireen: " Kanina ka pa kasi tahimik".
Jacob: "Bakit pag tinanong ba kita, sasagotin mo ako?.
Aireen: "Umayos ka nga!"
Jacob chuckled....
Kearl: "Uy Jacob mag kwento ka naman!"
Jacob: "Ano naman ikkwento ko sa inyo?"
Kearl: "Kahit ano, about sayo or sa lovelife mo?".
Jacob: " wala ako non, It's been two years..".
Aireen remain silent, listening to their conversation and where will it take them..
Marla: "Uy single sya, May pag-asa ka pa Aireen.."
Aireen: "Hoy, tigilan nyo ako ha".
Kearl: "Bakit kayo nag hiwalay, if okay lang sayo na i share?"
Jacob: "Hindi kami nag hiwalay"....
Rhea: "Kung hindi kayo nag hiwalay, Anyare?"
Jacob: "She passed away a couple of years ago, because of cancer.."
Rhea: "Sorry to hear that"....
Jacob: "Okay lang. Matagal na naman yun, tanggap ko na."
Kearl: "Inum nalang Tayo!"..."Cheers..."

The band is playing "Breakeven by The Script" and Aireen gave them a round of applause for it is one of her favorite song...
After that song, the band take a break and silence around the bar follows, except for the tiny voices that comes from the foreigners inside the bar...
Jacob stood up and ask the crew if its okay to borrow their stage... the crew nodded to approve... He stepped on the stage and grab the acoustic guitar, Aireen and her friends were observing him...
Kearl: "Don't tell me... kumakanta rin sya? sya na gurl!"
Aireen staring blankly at her...
Jacob: "Mike check"..
He started playing the guitar...and sing...

He return to their table after that two songs... "Ang ganda pala ng boses mo" Aireen said... "So...., In love kana sakin nyan?" Jacob replied with a smile...
Kearl: "Wag ka! Nag hheart yung mata nyan kanina!"

They ordered more buckets of beer... Jacob is so drunk that he fell asleep on their table... Marla and Rhea escorted Kearl to their Hotel room while Aireen keeps on shaking Jacob's arm to wake him up. She grab his arm to her shoulders and stood him up to walk..
Aireen: "Ang bigat mo! nakaka inis ka, umiinum ng marami di naman pala kaya!"
She wrap her arm to his waist to support him... His face is so close to hers, "Ang tangos ng ilong nya, at ang linis ng mukha" she couldn't help but admire his face...
