New Home // Gabriel Laceup

"Y/N, babe, are you ready to leave?" your boyfriend Gabe asked you.

You had been staring at the now barren apartment that you and Gabe had shared for over three years.

The walls were bare, missing the pictures that usually covered them and there were boxes piled almost up to the ceiling.

Even though you didn't have a lot of family or friends in London it still hurt to leave it for Texas, especially because of your job.

Moving out with Gabe meant a new beginning, for better or worse you had no idea but you were definitely scared.

Gabe knew this too, he slid his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder.

"Babe, I promise it's going to work out, you're going to really like it there and get a new job, and we'll be close to my family so-" you stopped him.

"You're parents don't even like me, Gabe, I don't know if I'm going to be able to do this" you're eyes were welling up with tears now as you turned around to face him.

"Y/N, look at me" he lifted your chin so you were staring into his bright blue eyes "I love you, my family loves you, you're going to love it in Texas, and have an amazing new job, you've just got to believe it. Okay, babe?" you nodded your head slowly, wiping one of the tears that escaped your eye and he pulled you into a hug.

In the next couple of days you had left your job, said goodbye to your friends, and boarded an almost 19 hour flight to Texas, with Gabe helping you the whole way.

When you finally landed you spent the whole day exploring Your new town and soon began to love It.

"Oh, and Y/N, I have one more thing to show you" Gabe said grabbing your hand and took you in the opposite direction of where you had been walking.

You finally stopped at a huge unfamiliar house you instantly fell in love with. "Welcome to our new home" he grinned from ear to ear, you just looked at him, shocked, before jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly.

"I love you" you whispered into his ear and kissed his cheek.

As soon as you entered the house you were greeted by Gabe's family and the rest of your friends  "Surprise?" he said turning to you.

You just rolled your eyes and kissed him on the lips, that would have continued longer if it wasn't for the rest of the boys yelling in disgust and the fact that there was a cake.
