"C'mon Y/N! Why won't you talk to us? It's fun hearing you talk" the same two fans had been following you around all day just because you made a mistake in your words while to them, it's not like it didn't happen often.

When you were younger you had been playing on your bike and took a nasty fall that caused brain damage and you were diagnosed with paraphasia, it was a speech impediment that made you jumble your words together.

In school, Zach had always been the one to protect you to the people who used to bully you and he also helped when it came to talking again, learning your words.

That didn't change one bit when he became more popular on social media and he became sure of it.

"What's the worst that can happen?" one of the fans said laughing.

"Just go away please" you mumbled, thinking about each word as you said it and checking your phone to see if Zach was any closer to the park you were meeting him at.

"What? Can you speak up?" the other fan asked in a mocking tone.

"You heard her, go away" you heard a familiar voice behind you, it was Zach.

The fans instantly left you alone as you ran up to Zach and hugged him.

"Shhh, it's okay, I won't let them hurt you okay? Don't worry" he hugged you tighter, then looked at you, pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear.

"I promise" he whispered, kissing you on the lips. The same trick had worked since you started dating in high school.

He always made everything better.

Later that night Zach tweeted:
@ImZachHerron: Guys please, @Y/T/N doesn't deserve any of the hate she's been getting and it would mean a lot if you all stopped. She's human too you know.

Later that night the hashtag #weloveyouy/n was trending on twitter much to you and Zach's surprise.
