Grand opening.

A few days went by, and I hadn't talked to Erica. She tried texting, calling, tweeting, face booking and even going through fake accounts to talk to me, but I was serious when I said that I was done with her ass.
Today is the day of the grand opening, and I don't have time to even deal with her crap.

Making sure everything was in place for the opening, Alexis, the staff, and a few other people were there, helping me set up. I had caterers, A DJ, photographers and etc, there for the event.

"So have you heard from Erica?" Alexis asked

"She's been blowing me up, but I've been ignoring her. Why?"

"Do you think she'll show up tonight?

"She'd be stupid as fuck to come, I don't even want to be in the Same room as her, let alone have her come to my event, to ruin it."

"Yeah, but this is her building, technically she can come and you can't do anything about it. Not to be negative, I just don't want you caught off guard by no B.S. Just have a good time, and remember today is about you."

I just waved her off and continued to get ready for the opening.

"The grand opening was a success!" - Alexis yelled excitedly and hugged me.

"I know I'm so happy everything turned out great".

"Who was that guy you were talking too? He looks familiar."

"Oh Joey? Yeah, he's just a friend that I've been knowing. Nothing major." I bit my lip, as I said this.

"Yeah yeah, just a friend my ass. Let's get out of here and go home. I'm slumped."

We locked up the store, and headed home. Walking into the building, there was flowers, and a note at my door step. The card read "Congrats Cyn. I'm sorry, and I love you". It was from Erica. And I just threw them out, I didn't have time for that.

The next day:

I woke up hearing a knock on the door. I opened it and my eyes grew, Erica was standing there and pushed her way inside the door.

"Erica get Ou..."

"Cynthia shut up, and listen to me. You've been ignoring me for days, and didn't even hear me out. "
"I don't want to hear shit you have to say. You cheated on me, that's that. I'm done."

"I didn't mean to intentionally hurt you, like I said. Rich used me, he practically forced me. I tried to get him to stop, and he didn't. I tried to leave and he wouldn't let me." Tears started forming in her eyes.

"So what you're basically saying, is that he raped you? Why didn't you call anyone. Why didn't you inform the police?"

"I wanted to save myself the embarrassment. Who's gonna believe me? You didn't even want to believe me!"

Cyn started to feel bad. "I'm sorry I didn't listen baby, I'm so sorry that happened to you. I should of been there for you. I should of listened, I'm so so sorry."

"It's okay, you didn't know. I just want us to be good. I don't want us to fight anymore, I want us to be back together. Don't leave me."

"I'm not gonna leave you babe. I'm gonna take care of you." Cyn grabbed Erica and held her as she cried. She knew something was up, but she didn't want to seem like a bitch, if what Erica said was really true.

Later that night

Alexis busted into cyn's room, she was about to tell her some good news, until she saw who was in cyn's bed. Cyn quickly jumped out, quickly walking around the room, making sure she was quiet and that Erica was still asleep, she grabbed Alexis and went into her room.

"What the fuck is she doing here Cynthia?!" Alexis whispered.

"Look I know it looks bad, but she came here telling me her side of the story and I gave in..."

"Her side of the story? I want to hear this bullshit that she came up with" she said while rolling her eyes.

"She said that rich basically forced her.."

Alexis's eyes grew, "now Cynthia... Do you honestly believe that?"

Cyn looked down, and played with her nails... "I don't know...."
