"Wait.... What?! How could I be pregnant?! No... This isn't supposed to be happening! " tears, rolled down my face, as my breathing picked up.

"I'm going to need you to calm down, and breathe. When is the last time you were sexually active?"

I started crying even harder, because I was carrying Joey's baby.

"It's been a while.." I said, choked up.

"Well, I can recommend a doctor for you to go to, and then they can give you a sonogram, and see exactly how far along you are."

"I don't think I'm going to keep this baby....."

The nurses face completely changed. "well, there's clinics that I can recommend too.... But you're going to have to see how far along you are, to see if abortion is even an option... I suggest adoption." She said with an attitude.

"Thank you for your help, I have to go." I walked out, still crying. I passed up Erica, and she followed me to the car.

"Cyn what happened in there? Why are you crying? What did they say was wrong with you?"

"Nothing Erica... I don't want to talk to you about it."

"I want to know, I'm here for you.. Is it an STD, a virus? Do you have something?"

Crying harder, I was getting choked up. "No Erica! Leave me alone and take me home!"

The rest of the ride was silent. When she pulled up to the complex, I quickly rushed out, slamming the door, running up to the apartment.

I didn't even say goodbye to Erica. She texted me a few times, and I ignored her.

Later that night:

Alexis:

I came into the apartment, and it was a MESS, Cyn was asleep, but I woke her up to make sure everything was okay.

"Cynthia, wake up! What's wrong with you? You look like shit, this place looks like shit..... Wait ... Have you been crying? You have tear stains from your mascara all over your face, what the fuck happened?"

She just looked at me, and busted out crying. She didn't say anything, but I just got in bed with her, and held her.

Playing in her hair, she stopped crying. I heard a few sniffles here and there. I held her for an hour and she finally spoke up.

"Alexis ....." She sighed

"Yes babe, talk to me. I'm here for you no matter what."

"I'm pregnant."

My eyes shot up, and we both say up.

"How?! By Joey?! Do you know for sure?"

"Yes, I went to the doctor today and took a test. Erica was there but she doesn't know. I don't know what to do... She doesn't even know about Joey. I was so hard on her about rich, and now I'm the one who's pregnant." Tears fell down her face.

"Are you going to keep it? Are you going to tell Joey?"

"I don't believe in abortion ... I mean it crossed my mind but I can't do it ... And adoption isn't an option, because I can't live my life, knowing that a part of me, is out there with someone else. And I'm scared to tell Joey. I don't want him using this as an excuse to try to control my life."

"I'm glad you're keeping it. You're doing the right thing. It's going to be alright. You're a successful woman, you'll be a even better mother. You need to sit down and tell Joey and Erica though..... Don't lead her on, and well, he's the father. He NEEDS to know."

She sighed, and cried a little bit more. "Okay, I'll call them both over tonight. Will you stay here with me though?."

"You already know I'm not leaving you here alone, with Crazy 1 and crazy 2."

Cyn:

I texted both Joey and Erica, asking them to come over. Taking a shower, I cleaned myself up, and put on some sweats, and a tank top. Cleaning up the house, I heard a knock at the door, and Joey was here.

"What's up? What happened? Why'd you finally decide to let me come over?" He said with an attitude.

"Just sit down and shut up. Give me a minute to explain everything... You're not the only one I was waiting on."

Doing as told, he sat down on the couch and flipped through the channels.

Hearing another knock at the door, Erica finally arrived. Letting her in, Joey saw her and immediately smacked his teeth. Erica rolled her eyes, as I directed her to sit on the couch.

Alexis came out of her room, and sat down right next to me, turning the TV off. All four of us sitting in the room, it was silent.

"So before this starts, I want everyone to know that I didn't mean for any of this to happen, and these weren't my intentions at all."

"Cyn what is?! Did you give me something?!" Erica said, you can tell she was panicking.

I sighed while, swallowing my spit.

"I'm pregnant". Their eyes grew and everyone was silent .
