"Okay Cynthia, are you ready to find out the gender of your baby?" The nurse asked, as me and Erica shrieked

"Oh my god YES YES YES! I've been so excited to see what my little peanut is."

Moving the little wand around my belly, I felt butterflies all inside of my stomach hearing the little heart beat.

"Hum.. this is interesting" the nurse said as she moved her face closer to the monitor

"What is it? What's wrong?" I started to panic

"Well, id love to inform you, that there are two babies inside of you."

My eyes grew, and Ericas jaw dropped.

"Twins.... TWINS?!" Are you positive?! How did you miss a whole entire baby inside of me?!"

"Well it looks like baby "B" was hiding behind his sister."  She winked at me, and my heart started beating faster

Erica jumped up and hugged me. "Aw Cynthia, we're going to have a boy and girl, so now no matter what, I get my Charlie."

"Congratulations Ms. Santana. And I'm sorry for the mix up."

She wiped the gel off of my stomach, while Erica gathered the pictures from the sonogram.

Later that day

Erica and I immediately went to Babies R Us, and a few other boutiques. I picked out the cribs that I wanted, bought more diapers,  white onesies, and I even found a cute double stroller that I wanted.

"Don't you think we should wait until the baby shower? You know a lot of people are going to bring you gifts for the baby." - Erica

"Yeah I know, but I still want to be prepared. I want everything ready for when the baby comes. Even thought I know I'll get a lot of stuff, it'll just be extra"

"Yeah I get that. I'm so excited, shocked, but excited."

"Me too, I wasn't expecting that at all, but then again I'm getting big, really fast. I just thought it was normal, but I guess we have two little babies now."

She blushed, and pulled me in for a kiss.
Kissing her back, she smiled, and we continued shopping.

"So you know what this means right?" She said shyly.

Raising my eyebrow, I stared at her "no what?"

"We gotta lock this down and make it official. We gotta get married boo."

Putting one hand on my hip, I fought the urge to laugh. "I hope that wasn't your proposal, because I'm going to have to deny it, until you can come correct."

"Now you know me, when I really ask you, you're not even going to expect it."

"Okay good, because I was dead ass going to tell you no, If that was it."

"Damn, that's cold."

I bursted out laughing, and she walked away while rolling her eyes.

Trying to catch up to her, it was hard because of my waddle, and I had to pee from laughing too hard. "Erica wait! Errrriiiccccuuuuhhh I'm playing baby."

"Are you done, or are you finished?" She squinted her eyes at me, and I laughed even harder

"Oh, my, God! I have to go to the bathroom, where is it?" My eyes were so watery from laughing

"It's over there, go waddle your ass on to it"
She smirked, and I tried to run to the bathroom.

Going to the bathroom, I finished my business, washed my hands, and walked back out, only to see Erica with a basket full of baby stuff.

"I was only gone for like two minutes, and you're trying to buy the whole damn store."

She chuckled, and pulled some of the outfits out of the basket to show me.

"Look all of these match. There's dresses for baby girl, and matching outfits for brother. They'll look so cute in these, and look at these bows. She HAS to have them, and these chucks will look so good on Charlie."

I was smiling so hard at her excitement. "Charlie huh? You already named baby boy?" I chuckled and her face lit up.

"Yessss I really love that name, even if it's his middle name. I just like it."

"Charlie? Hmmm, what about baby girls name?"

"Well, like I said before, I like paisley but for a middle name. I'm still undecided on that."

"Me either, I like the names Giselle, Gia, Ava, Harley..." she interrupted me

"Harley and Charlie!!! Our kids would hate us"

We busted out laughing, and walked up to the registers. Paying for the stuff, we walked to the car and put everything in the trunk.

"Eriiicccuuuuhhh"

"What babe?"

"I have to ask you a serious question......"

"What is it bae? You okay?" She looked at me nervously.

"Can we get some food? I'm starving?"

"Girl don't do that, you had me scared!"

Laughing as I got into the car. "I know, that's why I did it."

She rolled her eyes, with a smirk on her face.

"I hate your ass"

"Nah you loooooovvveee the kid."

We both laughed, as we headed out to eat.
