T W O"You need to calm down," Draco told me.
"Calm down? Calm down?!" I screeched. "Jack is in a totally different alliance and he didn't even say a thing! Better yet he killed one of our allies! We were supposed to be his allies! He wouldn't even tell me! I can't believe him!" I threw my axe at another tree angrily.
That asshole, left me here when he said he'd do anything to protect me. He almost killed me, by the throwing that axe. Did he not even care anymore? Was Draco right about Jack? Better yet, he raided the Cornucopia! And took all the damn biscuits! I marched up to the tree and yanked out the axe, letting out another scream of frustration.
"Larise, calm the fuck down. That happened yesturday. Screaming about it today is not helping anyone, especially you," Draco reasoned, crossing his arms.
"But he broke my trust Draco. I thought... I thought maybe he liked me. He promised to protect me, that he would do anything to keep me safe, but just yesterday, he tried to kill me!"
"But he killed Heaven," he snapped. "Quit sulking and get over your stupid school girl crush. Jack has never liked you, and he isn't about to start doing it now. We're in the Games for fuck's sake Larise! He was just manipulating you. Get that through your thick skull."
I scowled and rolled my eyes. "Right, yet what you and Heaven has real. How about you quit sulking? She's dead, and she's not going to revive any time soon Draco. You are in no place to be giving me advice that you should be following yourself, fucking hypocrite."
He glared at me murderously, "Y'know what, I'll talk to you when you've lost your snarky attitude." He walked away from me, heading over to Casper who was still fretting over that boy from Five. What's so special about him anyway that's got Casper so worked up? You'd think the guy was PMSing or something.
I gripped my axes and stalked away in the other direction, heading for Sierra who was examining her arrows. I sat next to her and she sighed, "I wonder if Jackie is alright."
After everything Jack had done, Sierra still found a way to care about him. But then again, she knew him longer then I did, maybe he did what he did for a good reason. "Why the hell do you even care? The bastard left us here," I snarled.
She shook her head gently, tapping my thigh with her arrow. "No he didn't. He protected us."
I raised an eyebrow at her. I knew Sierra could be delusional sometimes, but was she even paying attention to reality right now?
"What are you talking about Sierra? He tried to kill us.""No, he tried and succeeded in killing Heaven."
"How do you know?"
"Jack has bad eye vision. And it's not the normal kind either. Someone tampered with his vision somehow, and it's messed up badly. His glasses, they're special. Without them, Jack can barely see a thing, near or far. Give him any other type of glasses, it won't help. If he knew there was a possibility of hitting either one of us, especially with his eyesight problem, he wouldn't have thrown the axe."
I blinked in disbelief. "That's not possible."
She let out a shaky laugh, it was then I could see she was close to tears. She didn't understand either. Why Jack left us here, left us to die. "Anything is possible with Jack."
"Sierra, I know it's hard to believe, but Jack is a traitor," I whispered gently, placing my hand on her knee reassuringly.
"He's not a traitor Larise. You don't understand," she responded in a pained voice.
