Chapter 12: the festival of change.
I wore just casual jeans and a crop top. But not the kind that shows like everything. Nah I had a singlet one that COMPLETELY covered that area. But it like rose over my belly button... does that make sense? I don't know. I wore one of Mackenzie's snap backs and my black hightops to finish off the look. I ignored the uneasy look that Mackenzie was giving me
"What is your problem?" I asked him when every one left the room. He pulled his top off and changed it. Then sat down on the edge of the bed. He pouted and pulled me over to him.
"I don't want to share you" he whispered. I was shocked... I didn't know what to say. He put his hands on my hips and kissed my stomach. It was like that time in his room... I couldn't move like magic held me there. But this time it was different. No one would interrupt us here... the door had been locked on the others departure.
"Dee-dee" he whispered. I could hear the longing in his voice. He pulled me down on his bed. Instantly wrapping himself around me
"What are you thinking?" he asked me. I thought he could already tell as it felt as though his eyes were invading my soul... I don't think I like the feeling it gave me
"I-I'm scared" I told him. My voice too was barely above a whisper. His hands stayed on my hips and he started drawing circles on my stomach with his thumb and bit his lip.
"Sorry" he said to me "but I never want to leave you in the hands of another guy" I gasped. Did that mean... does he like me like that... no impossible. My hands move automatically with out me even knowing. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him
"I don't want you too either" I whispered. Then there was a knock on the door.
"If you two are asleep, I'm going to leave you in the lion cage" Ryan called through the door. I laughed.
"This kid" Mackenzie said as he released me from the spell he'd put me under.
"I heard that!" Ryan yelled. I heard Joy giggling on the side lines.
The fair grounds were huge. Mackenzie held my hand so I didn't get lost. I saw Levi and waved. He smiled and waved back
"I'll be back" I told Mackenzie and he just nodded. I walked over to Levi and sat down next to him on the seat.
"You look. Amazing" he breathed I smiled
"Thanks" I told him "so do you" I didn't lie I mean. This kid always looks amazing.
"Hey" he pointed to the Ferris wheel "your coming on that with me" I smiled again
"Of course" I told him. We got up and waited in line for the Ferris wheel. I was pretty exited when we started going up.
"So um..." Levi said nervously "summer ends in a few days" I looked at him surprised.
"Yeah. I guess. Bummer. I had so much fun this year" I smiled and he kind of smiled.
"I'm just going to say it. And don't try and stop me. Please" I nodded and he continued "when I saw you on the beach that first day I felt like I found another part of me. You are the most beautiful person I've ever seen and I really like being with you. I know your going back soon so um..." he leaned forward and kissed me. I didn't close my eyes like he did. I just kind if blanked. He pulled back
"I'm sorry" he cried. Then I saw Jason, Ryan, joy. An Mackenzie. They were staring at me. And just after Mackenzie told me that he didn't want me go be with another guy. When I got off the Ferris wheel I was still dazed and confused.
"Why hello there. Glad of you to join us" Ryan laughed. I just blinked at him
"What?" I asked confused. Every one stared at me like I was some kind of phyco that should be locked up.
