Chapter 34: happiness
***one year later***
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Jett. Happy birthday to you" everybody sang to Jett as he blew out his candles. Well I did but he attempted to. So yeah it's Ben a year since Jett was born and things can not be going better. You'll never guess who are parents now. Yeah thats right. Ryan and joy. Their daughter, JJ. He that's right joy junior. Mackenzie flipped it when he found out.
"What did you wish for Jett?" Mackenzie asked him.
"Dad dad dad dad dad dad dad" Jett mumbled. It was so unfair he knew how to say dad but not mum. I mean Mackenzie is my boyfriend... oh wait did I say boyfriend? no I meant fiancé!!!! yeah that's right botches Mackenzie proposed. JJ was sitting next to Jett. Best friends and all. And then fell straight in to the cake.
"JJ" Ryan cried and instantly picked up the smiling baby.
"Oh Ryan" joy laughed "she's just having fun" then Jett decided he wanted some cake too. So we had two very rude babie who didn't share the cake. Mean right? nah, it had Thomas the tank engine on it.
Mackenzie grabbed Jett from his high chair
"Your coming with me" he laughed and grabbed my hand. We went for a drive to... is it wrong that I don't know where this is?
"Dadda" Jett laughed as Mackenzie pulled him out of the car seat. Mackenzie grabbed my hand and led m into the darkness
"Mackenzie" I gasped "are you going to kill us?!"
"What?!" Mackenzie laughed. "Just wait you'll see" about two minutes later Mackenzie pushed me to the ground then sat down next to me and put Jett I between us.
"What is going on?!" I cried. But as I said it a million lights flickered in to the air and lit up the meadow we were sitting in
"Fireflies" I whispered and Mackenzie squeezed my hand a little and Jett pointed at then in awe. This was our family. And I wouldn't change it for the world
